Today's whiskey is Green Spot Léoville Barton and I have to thank a dear friend for this bottle. It was an absolute delight and you can see from how much is left that I enjoyed it. This was over a couple of days, mind you. 😋 I do love my Irish and this was a sweet one with the Bordeaux finish.

Back to work...

I'm back from the mountains and a wonderful week of skiing. The mountains were absolutely beautiful and waking up to all that wonderful snow was heaven. My legs were a little sore, which made putting on stockings a bit challenging. 😚

I want to thank everyone again for all the wonderful wishes and gifts. I will tell you more about the trip after I figure out what I'm going to wear. Hope everyone had a beautiful weekend and your week starts well. 💋

Birthday Bash

I wanted to take a few minutes to thank everyone for all the wonderful messages, flowers, and gifts today. It sure makes a girl feel special and I couldn't be more moved. It has been a wonderful weekend so far.

 I'm traveling, so it may take me a bit to respond, but this snow bunny will be sure to post from the mountain tops. Every year, my favorite place to be at this time is in three or four feet of beautiful white glistening snow.

Well, being a Bay Area girl, I was cheering the 49er's. Can't tell you how frustrating that was for me. At least it was a close exciting game, but I'm not sure if it was the Super Bowl or the Swift Bowl. I think Taylor got as much news as the team. One thing's for sure, Vegas knows how to throw a party. I feel for all those that had to get on a plane this morning. An extra day in bed was probably the way to go. 😉 💋

Good morning...

I hope it was a great weekend. It never lasts long enough and with rain in Vegas, I really didn't want to get out of bed. Even my sweet dog wouldn't budge out of her cozy cave. I will say that coffee always tastes better in the winter. My challenge is to take it slow and enjoy it. Maybe that should be my mantra for this week.

Well, I must admit that I don't have a whiskey this week for review and I'm behind on several gifts of whiskey that I received over the holidays. I have been enjoying some of my favorites. If I had to pick one go to whiskey, it would be Redbreast PX. It's definitely one of my favorites. Whenever I have Redbreast 21 or 27, I always feel guilty unless it's a special occasion.
