Not perfectly happy with this, but it will work for a test! I'm on my 2nd iteration of testing of lip sync with the sfw clip, but I decided not to post the 1st iteration because it's pretty bad lol. I think this is doable though. I'll be interested to get your feedback once I have something decent to post. The process is to record my face/voice and then transfer that onto the character so I probably need to start working on my acting lol.

Went pretty fast because I reused the base keyframes from the nude tg. Could be more gradual, but this is just to test the best way to do lip sync so I'm trying not to spend too much time on this part.

I finished the nude TG animation slightly ahead of schedule so I want to give you guys an update on what's coming next. TLDR: lip sync and voice morphing tests!
I'm honestly not sure when/if I'll be able to get lip sync working. I've never tried it before, but I have seen people get decent results with Live Portrait, so I might just keep iterating until I'm happy with it. Could take a month, could take shorter or longer. This was really intended just as a test of whether I can do an animation with a large number of key frames. And it works! I used 18 key frames for this. The rotation is not great because the number of transition frames was too large, but there is a node that was just released last week that should fix that issue (https://github.com/akatz-ai/ComfyUI-AKatz-Nodes).

WIP of the first 10 frames of the animation. Main takeaway is that I like the slower timings at the beginning but would like to speed up on the rotation - unfortunately that's not possible with node I'm using. It was an interesting experiment though! I think for future projects, I'll probably be a bit more static.

Hires key frames are done! All that remains is the face/hand detailing pass as well as fixing any inconsistencies as best as possible. Then the animation can start!

Ran a whole bunch of seeds and landed on these as the lowres key-frames. The time-consuming part is going through and inpainting these to make the transitions more gradual so I'll hopefully have that done within the next week or so. Then I can upscale these. I think this is a good start though!

Not completely happy with this but it was a good test. It might just be a skill issue, or Luma just might be only good for more static animations in its current state. I'm not completely giving up on it quite yet. Switching back to AnimateDiff for now though so I can do some nudity.

I'm surprised Luma didn't block this! I basically just tried taking youtube screencaps from this video of the models mid-motion and then interpolating with Luma. I think it worked quite well!
I'm still hoping to finish the old man -> young runway model test this weekend but it's going to be tight. Still working on finishing posing/rendering in Daz Studio.

TLDR, I will be hard-focusing on the full-length nude TG animation starting in August. I will be posting WIPs during that time but won’t be working on requests. I know it’s not August yet, but I finally have a decent idea of how I want things to go moving forward, so I thought I’d share.

Interpolating between stock photos using Luma. You can use a series of photos by doing multiple generations with the same starting keyframe as your last ending keyframe and then trimming and compiling in a video editor! I will try it with an ai-generated tg next, but these results are very encouraging!

I think I'm getting to where I want to be for the lowres pass. Just a few more things to test and then I'll move on to the hires pass. Current plan is to refine that using a 50yo -> 18yo age regression request I got. I need to make sure my conditioning is strong enough to hold steady across context windows, but hopefully I'll still be able to get blinks and subtle movement like that. This was a request from alexxxf2frc who does cool illustrated stories using DALL-E. The story with this one was about a woman who dresses up as Cleopatra for a Halloween party and then actually transforms into Celopatra. I fed his images into AnimateDiff and came up with this using the Dreamshaper 8 checkpoint. The hands got a little crazy, but it was a fun experiment!
