As we collaborate on different poses/placement, I was given suggestions with the following 4 shots. In all honesty, they’re all good! For now, I’m going with the first slide of the 4 since Bunny is presented so prominently with her lightsaber. Another Round of Casting Done!

After about 10 days of taking auditions (almost 40 of them), we’ve been able to cast all listed roles for the remainder of season 7’s supporting characters! Compared to previous rounds of auditioning, this was one of the quickest and most successful to date, and the new talent coming in is extremely impressive.

With such an emotionally charged season, a lot of vulnerability was required during this round of recording, so I was really holding out hope that...

Lost Script: "Walter Gets Captured"

Originally written back in May 2019, a very different plan was in place to address the dramatic confrontation between Walter and his past. Long before the conception of Cage, I initially planned for a movie-length special, which began as a case, like any other: Walter, Bunny, and the gang ambush a group of Freeside thugs in what would seem like another thrilling finale, but this would be the beginning of an event that neither of the detectives could predict.

Season Finale (Pt 1 of 2) Completed! ✔️ 📝

Howdy folks,

After a relatively quick few sessions of writing, I have been able to clinch the most important episode of season 7 (which I won’t name for spoiler reasons). Although our latest season hasn’t even begun, most of you know I have been using the downtime to write/cast each one over this past year. With that, I am happy to say that I am quite literally one script down from calling it a wrap on my part!

If you can believe it, the completion of this script leaves me with only two more scripts to finish; those two being separate season finales to put a cap on Season 7. Hard Lock Blues marks 13/15 of my written episodes, minus the extra 3 that co-writer Joshua Belmonte plans on putting together.

I’m closing in for the kill on this script, with only a few more pages to go, which leaves me with only 2 more episodes to write for S7. It may seem like a long way away, but schedule-wise, it’s this one...

Anyone recall how I said our editor, Ethan Walsh, was a massive Star Wars fan?
