so i am still playing around with clip studio paint. i really like the way the brushes feel and the blending brush seems to be a lot better then photoshops
i am using the trial version so i cannot save anything, but i want to play around with it for a week or two before i decide if it is a good replacement for photoshop
found it

a few things to report
first: finally got the new SSD 1TB replacement for my C drive to work. now i have about 10 times the space in my main drive which should make my computer more stable.
second: got a liiiitle carried away with this and spent most the day on it...oops

i am not too sure about the bushes. they don't seem to mesh well with the rest of the style yet

this one did not need much refinement so i did not need to separate out any panels...but i definitely will for the color stage

a lot of these panels only need a bit of refinement before i color them

the second thumb will just look like i drew the hand wrong if viewed from any angle where you cannot see the other thumb
i had an idea for a shearing comic but i am so slow today

so i built 6 different goat/sheep girls from the Daz gen 2 model and started sketching them out. i made some very simple textures for them for a color guide. i had planned on doing more character designs but for some reason i was very slow today

i spent all day working on these ears. all i have been doing is testing the various bone rotations and making corrections. ti is not that difficult but it is quite tedious.
i feel worried about tackling the "bug people" morphs i want to make. because all that i am doing with these ears i will have to do for DOZENS of bones. and here i am just working with 2

needs some contrast fixing
a friend of mine who is a traditional artist is going to help me get back into mediums like water color. i hope to be able to use what i learn there for a bug girl comic idea i have
