ok so i made myself go back to this comic and did the same thing i did for this current folio. combining renders and just drawn stuff
first i am going to finish off the page 1st drafts. they are REALLY rough so i will get through them as quickly as possible
then renders and refinement but just enough to be able to tell what is going on so if the narrative does not make sense i can change it

right. from start to now this is a 1 hour speed paint. still not the 1hour and done mark i want but seem to be getting there
i know i have been a lot slower for the past month or so. thank you all for your patience and letting me be more exploitation-al with my workflow. with this folio i should be getting back to the regular volume of stuff
so once again i tried another modification to my workflow, i simply used all my techniques
3d figures
photos
traditional mediums
and added them all together to try and get that elusive "get done in 1 hour" goal
so far i like what i am seeing and it feels good
with brush building and tax season i got more then a little behind

so i made some bunny brushes (head and feet) and tried them out. i would say they work
eventually i will have LOTS of head and hand brushes

made some saber tooth brushes and tested them out
i am working on the torso an hips now. last will be the feet brushes then i can do some female brushes
so after a few hours of going about making brushes the manual way with screen caps and drawing out line work i thought to myself "there MUST be a better way to do this"
after some research i set up blender to automatically render out over 300 different poses of the model i wanted to make a brush. then i set up Photoshop to automatically turn all those renders into brushes.
it took a process that would have taken weeks by hand and condensed it down into about 30 mins

this idea was given to me by some of my friends a while ago and i just remembered it yesterday. i don't know why i did not jump at the idea before, my guess is lack of confidence, but i will essentially make a whole bunch of stamp brushes similar to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NgwdO5qYZ4
i have already screen capped a generic human head and have been building my rotation sketches. however ...
