ok here's the deal.  i was working on the folio then i did this to relax an loosen up....but it was taking too long so i realized i am still too darn slow and so i started thinking about how to use the tools i had just in photoshop to make me faster ....but the problem is i never STOPPED thinking and planning so that is an issue i need to address in myself

i really need to stop procrastinating on posting stuff. i had this ready a few days ago but stopped myself from posting it because.....i dunno my brain locked up.i have some bad habits i need to break still

i took one of the panels and made it bigger on a separate file.  this was so i could get my structure and form correct.  once i get all the foundations right i will put it back in the page and finish it up there

i went back to the line work.  refining it a lot more

so i turned off some shadow and highlight layers to start working on giving her flat colors some form.  i am trying to be very deliberate in my brush strokes and telling myself to not be afraid of redoing a part if it really needs it

so i took one of my old renders i made to have as a back log and did the same application of "just reference it" except for the head 

another speed sketch

well the WAS going to be a speed sketch but took a bit more time as i kept refining the line work.  based off Simone's comments a day ago from the last panda image i put the screen cap just to the top left of the screen.  i DID however do a trace over and fix of the heads just to keep them from being mushy looking. every thing else is drawn from just looking at the screen cap
