
So this week has been as exhausting as I expected it to be, but I come with great news, I'm not late on my tasks, so everything is good for friday the 15th.
I am SO excited to release it you have no idea.
Last week I said I'd come with numbers so here they are.
A little over 2100 static renders were produced, we have 32 animations, 15 Lewd animations, and a little under 4800 lines of dialogues between characters.
And oh the quality of these animations, I worked really hard to give you guys great and fluid animations. Some of them took as much as 190 renders for a good 6 second animation.
And it's looking mighty fine (wink wink).
I haven't had time to test it yet, it'll be done on thursday, but I'll be able to give you an accurate lifespan on friday when the game's released.
I've reworked the intro, so for anyone of you who have played the demo, you should start over as things will be slightly different, and you'll have more explanations and renders.
Are you excited ? I'm excited. It's 3:37 am right now and it's the earlier I'll get to bed this week but I'll tell you what, it was worth it.

Renders are finally all created, I now have to finish for my rendering queue to be completed, and then I'll go onto the photoshopping part.
It feels really good to know that this part is behind me and that I'm getting closer and closer to the end of this version.
I'll come with the exact numbers next week so you know what to expect.
This week will mainly be focused on finding songs, script work (still need to create the scene gallery in the menu), and I guess I'll start with the photoshopping part.
Not much to say, work is being put in, but I'm really happy with what I've done so far.

As you know from my last update, I had to rewrite the script from an old backup because I lost it.
In two days and over 22 hours in front of my computer, I managed to write it all back.
It was a hard, rigorous, painful task, but I've completed it.
Last renders are still being created, but I finally see the end of the tunnel.
My rendering station is working 24/7, no problem over there.
I think based on what I need to do, last renders to create, find music, photoshopping, game testing and adapting the script to my renders, I can estimate a date for the official v0.2 release.
It was a hard decision, but I think it's best and safe to plan to officially release the game on the 15th of October.
I think 3 weeks is enough to complete all these tasks and make sure I give you guys a great, complete and flawless product.
You need to udnerstand, the v0.2 lifespan is estimated to be around 7 hours of gameplay.
I'll determine how long exactly it takes to play it once I'll have tested it.
But yeah, 7 hours means I'll have a lot of details to pay attention to and I'll have to focus on everything to make sure there's not a rendr that needs reworking, or a script error or anything else.
I strongly encourage you guys to join my discord right here to talk to me, and get some bloopers and spoilers from the v0.2 that I post from time to time.
So yeah, three more weeks to wait and it'll be live.
I hope you guys are as excited as I am, but not as stressed lol.

Yesterday I made a incredibly stupid mistake by deleting a bunch of documents from my computer and I accidentally deleted the script of the game.
I have a backup on Google drive which is a good thing, but this backup is a few weeks old and lots of modifications have been made to the script since then.
I've tried numerous app to restore files such as DiskDrill, Wondershare Recoverit, Stella data Recovery and Recuva, but I can't find it ...
My lazy ass always forgot to update it and now I'm in a situation that I could have avoided if I played it safe.
So what I've been doing since yesterday is work on the old script to recreate the one I had made.
What makes me really sad is that lots of dialogues and existing scenes were improved, lots of "decision-scenarios" were created and they're a pain in the ass to make, and now I gotta start all over again, and the v0.2 is supposed to be out in 2 weeks.
It's a good thing my rendering queue is full, but my mind is tired and honestly I'm broken right now, don't feel like eating, sleeping or doing anything to be honest.
I'll keep working on the script for the next two days, it'll probably be enough, if I work 10 hours a day on it, but I can't tell you how much it hurt me to have destroyed that script which was just perfect, because I was stupid.

So last week-end I was away for my cousin's wedding which is why I couldn't keep you guys updated.
My computer hasn't been rendering from friday to sunday as I don't like to let it run when I'm not here.
Call me crazy, but if it caught fire, I wouldn't be here to stop it.
Anyway, I got back yesterday late, and started to work this morning.
All the animations are created and queueing for rendering and I estimate a good 2 weeks of rendering.
I know it's quite some time, and if you add the static renders left to render we could add another week.
So the end of september my be a little difficult but we never know.
As soon as I will finish the last static renders, I'll start by photoshopping what I already have, and then work on testing the game, even tough I will miss a few renders and animations.
It'll allow me to see if there are any dialogues errors, or coding issues.
Also, now that coding is done and animations too I can give you guys some more numbers.
I consider an eye blink in a scene to be 1 animation.
I also consider an animation in which you have nudity or kissing to be a "Lewd" animation.
So far, we have 20 Lewd animations, and about 50 regular animations.
Static renders will be close to 3000 still, but I still can't give you the exact number.
We will also have the 5000 thousand lines of dialogues between characters, but I think I've told you about this before.
The most important part of the game, on which I'm working a lot will be the trailer for v0.4, which will contain future renders with dialogues, and the last "scene" with one hell of a cliffhanger.
I have a lot of ideas in my mind, which I know I can realize, I just need to work on them and I hope I won't be late.
Now let's talk about Valentine's new hair poll.
It didn't get as much attention as Lucy's, but we still have to pick a winner and the winner is the second option.

Hey, so I guess we all know Valentine, as she is the character you can find on my Patreon banner, and the one introducing my game to you, if you've played the demo. (If you haven't, I suggest you do, the v0.2 release is imminent ! Check it right here.)
When I first chose Valentine's hair, I liked the color a lot, and I found it by buying a material extension to her hair.
But, the model in itself, altough good esthetically speaking, is a pain in the butt to adapt to a moving character. What I mean by that is that everytime Valentine is in motion, or uses her neck too much (wink wink), the hair glitches through the body, or I can't move it and give it a natural look.
Which is why decided to give Valentine two different haircuts, based on the situation she'll be in.
But here comes the problem, no material for the chosen haircut matches the first one.
That's why Valentine will change her hair color.
Just like last time with Lucy, I picked 4 choices, and the most liked one will be the one Valentine will carry from now on.
I had to create one more "scene" to describe why she changed it. (Isn't it convenient she has a friend who owns a Hair salon ??)
Anyway, here are the choices, thanks for your help, and I'll see you Monday the 13th for the result.

So this past week I was sick on wednesday, and I slept through the entire day.
You could think it was bad, but I've always been more productive when I work late in the night, and so I worked from 9pm to 6 am, which now allows me to feel like I definitely will deliver the project on time.
Also, I figured what was wrong with my rendering station and fixed the problem, so no time is lost anymore.
I'd say we've got about 1200 renders left to create and a little more to render.
Then comes the photoshopping part, put everything in the games directories, a little bit of coding, and finally game testing.
I totally forgot about that last part, because it took me about a day for the demo to play it, correct every little details that were wrong, add music here and there, fix the script, ... And so for the whole 0.2, I suppose it'll take some time.
By the way, what do you guys think about this new image for progress update ? I kind of like the fact that I have a given image for this specific topic.
I was thinking about doing others with Alexa and Laura, maybe Lucy, which will be the main characters with which you will interact in the 0.2.
Maybe I will do a poll current of this week, we'll see.

So I didn't post yesterday because my dad, whom I don't see very often paid me a visit and I wanted to spend some time with him.
I apologize for it, and so without further ado, let's talk about the game !
So script is all written, and so I'm focusing on renders.
I keep having small issues with my rendering station where all of a sudden, without any reason it'll go to locked screen and stop rendering.
I need to take a look into that, as it's frustrating when a whole night of rendering goes to waste.
Because of that, I lost a little time but I think I'd be able to respect my deadlines.

So in my last post I talked about so big news regarding the project. I've decided to work full time on the project and so I quit my job.
It was a hard decision, but I know it's a necessary one.
By leaving my job, I can fully focus on developping the "The Entrepreneur".
Now, let's talk about the game.
I estimated that most people will play 7 hours before reaching the end of v0.2.
But considering there are multiple endings, this may last longer.
There will be approximately 3000 different renders, and I'm still not sure about the number of animations.
There are also around 5500 lines of dialogues between the different characters.
I may add some more, but I'm not sure, because then maybe I won't be able to release the game by the end of September.
There will be 5 animated sex scenes, and lots of sexy renders.
So yeah, that's about it I guess, lot of work ahead of me.

This week, I've been working a lot on the script and I'm almost done.
I'm glad to say that I added so many choices for you to take, that this first version will have multiple "endings".
That means you could play the same game twice by making different decisions everytime and you will guide MC through a different story.
Doing this, adding many more choices and by so creating different paths, means I'll create more renders too.
It'll take me a lot of work, if I'm honest, but it'll be worth it.
On the other hand, I spent so many hours focused on the script that my rendering station completed all of the work I queued in it, and now it's in sleep mode, so that's problematic.
I'll spend the 4 next days only focusing on creating renders to queue, If I'm good I can make probably about 150 to 200 renders.
I also have some great news for the game, but I'll tell you all about it next week because I still need to deal with a few things first.
Anyway, so far, we're still looking at a late september release for V0.2 and I intend to stick to it.

Hey,
August the first marked the day I released the demo of my game, and I can't stress enough how important it was for me to do it.
Thanks to that demo release, I had the surprise to waking up 2 days after uploading it whith a lot of positive reviews, people were excited, gave me compliments on the quality of my renders, my english, the beauty of my characters, and that made me so happy, even may have brought tears to my eyes.
I also had the opportunity to exchange with a lot of people, on how to improve my game, and I decided that my Game, which was supposed to be a sandbox will actually turn out to be a regular VN.
I realized that's what most people wanted, and with the huge main plot and each character's life, it allowed me to give a much more deep experience, to make you really feel the emotions I want to transfer through my game.
With that said, I hope you're as impatient to play the game as I am to finish it.
And that brings us to the update.
This past week I've been working on transitionning the game from a sandbox to a VN.
I had to adapt the script, create more renders, and that took me quite some time.
I honestly don't know where we'll be in terms of renders and animations for the release, I'll try to determine that next week.

So this week I didn't get to work a lot on the game nor the monthly renders because I decided to upgrade my setup.
The main reason for that is because of the high quality of my renders, each and every single one of them takes about 2-5 hours to render.
And since my setup is in my bedroom, I can't run it at night.
Moreover, everytime I create a scene, I can't render one, so i'm going really slow.
That's why I decided to order a new PC, which will go in my livingroom and render 24/7.
I'll keep this actual PC, to create scenes, and the other one will render them.
But at a MUCH faster speed.
Here are the specs for the new PC :

- Ryzen 9 5900x
- Geforce RTX 3080 TI
- NZXT Cpu cooler Kraken Z73
- 32 gb ram corsair vengeance (4x8)

So I'm literally building a monster, at the time I'm writing this, I'm waiting for the power supply, which should arrive in a few hours.
Once it's here, I'll finish building this machine, and put it to work.
That means the free demo WILL arrive before the end of the July, and v0.2 will be out by september, if not sooner.

Since the last post I dedicated all my time working on the free demo that I will release by the end of July. There will be exactly 91 renders with 3 animated renders, and 1 animation in 30 fps (which looks really good).
Next week will also be the first patreon only posts with the "Renders of the month".
I already have plenty of ideas of what I want to do, so I'm impatient to start working on them.

Today marks for "The Entrepreneur" one of the biggest accomplishments since its creation : I will now begin to release status updates every week as well as renders of the months and polls.
For those of you who may not know it, I started working on this game by the end of February. We're currently at 800 renders out of 1200 (approximately) and my PC is rendering 24/7.
I will post by the end of July a free downloadable version of the game that will probably last around 10-15 minutes so you can actually experiment the game, and see just a small amount of what it will be.
If everything goes as planned, by the end of August I will release v0.2.
If you want to know more about progress, don't hesitate to support me by pledging.
