In the next few posts I'll be covering the progression of page 8 for the Rent comic.
Giving you an idea of what goes on in the building process of a single page.

The first image I'm posting is the three phases page 8 has gone through so far.

This comic is a commission, so there are certain plot points and details the commissioner wants.  So that dictates on how I approach the staging.  I also have to keep in mind how the last page ended, so...

The Initiation - page 12

The ceremony is progressing as the pledges enter.
About to join the Fraternity.

The action is building in this one... finally.
The story for this comic had a larger than usual build up, but I think the payoff will make up for it.

I want to give a special shout out to two important people, namely Beartrap and HisWorldOfMen.  They are the ones who've been my secret editors  behind the scenes.  I bounce the roughs and dialogue off them...

Oy! What a page this was to draw, but it's finally finished!
Lots of complicated things going on with this one.

Thank you to my long time Patreon supporters who have stuck with me through this comic and The Initiation.  Both heavy in crowds and details.
Doing stuff like this is a major grind, but worth it in the final results.

I'm also getting close to wrapping up the next page of Rent.

December Update

Here is the latest on the comics.
Rent is coming along, with color and line work being worked on.

Initiation is almost to the color stage, still placing characters in certain panels.
All and all, its coming along nicely.

It was a slug fest, but I think it turned out rather well.

Just thought I'd give you and update on the Rent comic.
I think I'm happy with the color of panel 1.
Changing the lighting a bit, since they are at a party.
Hopefully this will also make it clearer as to what is going on.

Anyways, getting closer to finishing it up.

Oy vey, this page was something.

Not only was this page re-written several time, but the crowds were crazy to draw.

But, I finally got through it.
What I plan on doing is making a post about the evolution of this page.
And the process of how it was constructed.

Now I need to get back to Rent, and finish that page off.
And start the next pages for Initiation and Rent.

Just want to give a quick update.
Slugging through page10 of Initiation.
Its been a tricky page, but I'm liking how its turning out.
Still have a few tweaks and characters to ad to certain panels on the bottom.
Sort of shooting off the hip, as I always do with these comics. LOL
But its getting there!

Time for an update on what's on the drawing table.

This page is like a complicated game of Jenga. LOL
So many characters and staging that needs to be worked out.
I've been jumping around to each panel, making sure the continuity is hooking up right.

Here's an update on what is currently on the drawing table.
Working out the next page of Rent comic, which is, of course getting complicated fast.

And also staging the next page of The Initiation.
Surprisingly, The Initiation is coming along faster than Rent.

Both pages are really rough at the moment.
But I'm working it out.

Just giving a quick update on what I'm working on at the moment.
Page 5 of Rent is being cleaned up for color, and the next page of The Initiation is being staged.

Page 5 of Rent will be moving faster than Initiation since there's less to figure out.

Thankfully the Breathless comic is all finished giving me more time to focus on these two comics, and getting back to a more normal output.

I FINALLY got this commissioned comic finished!
Here are the last two pages, wrapping up Breathless.

This one really beat me up. LOL
So many things going on in each panel, which slowed me down quite a bit.
But, its all finished now.  Which means I can finally concentrate on Rent, and the Initiation comics.  Which is why most of you are here. LOL

Going to start work on the final page of the swimming comic next.
That will wrap up that project.

Quick update

Just popping up to give a quick update on things.
Here is the latest on the "Rent" comic. (I can't say the C word here.)

You might have noticed from the last update that his page has changed once again. LOL
Had to revise it because the pacing didn't feel right.  Had to ad more to this panel, and push back the kissing to the next page... again!
But that's how it goes sometimes when telling stories.

As far as the Breathless comic, page 6 is ...

But the end result turned out pretty well.

Just giving an update on what's coming up.

First up on the top left is the rough for the next page of The Initiation comic.  Since the dialogue is key, had to figure that out first, then sketch the scenes.

Next up is the rough for page 4 of Rent A .... (I can't say the "C" word here on Patreon)  Still working on how the flow will go once I get through the dialog of the first two rows.  But its getting there.

Lots of layers on this one, so it took a bit longer than anticipated to complete.

It started out with a general idea of scribbles, and for this particular panel, I had went ahead and filled in the color of the cock.  I did this to see what it would look like with the latex sheath on it.  The bottom image is the current state of the panel.  I finally got the closest characters figured out and colored. &n...

Hope you are being safe.

Just wanted to give a big update as to what is currently in the pipeline.
My output is a bit slower than normal, but that's  because I have four different comics going on all at once.
Its a bit like the spinning plates routine. LOL

Above are the current progress on each page of each comic at the moment.

The top left is the next pages for The Initiation comic, it will be double page spread.

Page 4 is finally finished, and now we are getting into the real "meat" of the story, or at least the part you are most interested in. LOL
