Alright quick and dirty.

Looks like final word count for the chapter will hold at about 30,000 not quite as long as part 3 but there's also a significant amount of show don't tell so less words, but more renders.

About 1,724 renders posed,  1300 of them completely rendered and postworked.  Spent the last week pretty heavily focused on getting poses out as that's the most time consuming part of the art process nearing the final scenes of the update so hopefully I can fini...

Writing is at the same place. Still making some final flow edits to this scene. Close to happy, but still needs just a little more tweaking. Should have the final draft off to my proofer by this time next week.

Kana is up this week. And once again she we have to wonder if she ever wears anything but athletic wear?  At least she looks good in it right?

Writing 95% done or so, still taking time to finish up some extra flow work and whatnot before the proofer gets it, but otherwise finished.

About 1,117 renders posed,  1002 of them completely rendered and postworked. I was really hoping this update would only be about 1500 renders total. That... will not be happening.

This week the lovely Ines gets her title screen. Also shows off a little something else wink wink. In honour of our resident Parisian I'm posting on Europe time.

Think it'll be finalised at 33,000 words. Running through a few more drafts and then of course it's off to the proofer.

About 762 renders posed,  690 of them completely rendered and post done. Able to focus more on renders this past week so that's felt nice. Always good to be back in the artist chair.

Sitting at 35,000 words. Not sure there's much more to trim. but I'm taking a look at one scene in particular and trying to decide if I absolutely need it, or if it's a bit indulgent. If I do cut it, it'll be the last piece I need to remove. After that I can finish my drafts and get this puppy off for proofing. Hopefully by then end of the month.

This week the star of our title screen is the lovely Amrit, isn't she just a cutie?

Have about 37,000 words converted. Ended up with 42,000 at first, but I've done some trimming to get back down, still want to lose a little more weight on this update, but not too much. Trying to trim to a final draft of 34,000. We'll see.

It's that time again, title screen reveals. This one is a modified version of another render I did that I just loved. So it gets to be included in official capacity.

Hope everybody is doing well. I believe I mentioned a few weeks ago we'd exceeded 300 patrons over here . The above render is just a little thank you render for getting me to that point. Love y'all. Now on to business.

Have about 27,000 words converted. That's about where I was hoping to be, the goal is to have a first draft entirely finished by then end of the month, then have a few weeks of punch up work. Hoping not exceed 40,000 words this update, but we'll see.

Weekly Check In 03/16/2022

Yo Yo,

Hope everybody is doing okay. Hell of a weekend over here but things are calming down now, so I'm happy to be back to work. 

Have about 19,000ish words converted in to some script. I was hoping to be at 20 today, but such is life.  That still gets me into the range I was hoping to be at by now, so I guess I'm just being picky. 

Started posing and rendering a little earlier than I do in the cycle, working out so far, interested to see how it works out in...

Hey all,

Just working away this week. By tomorrow night I'll have a about 10,000 words of the first draft converted and in the script.  That's about what I was aiming for timetable wise so no hot gossip there.

Working on finishing up my remaining set as well. Mostly happy with it at the moment, just trying to find the last little touches and then get the lighting down. It will be a pretty common set in the future so I want to make sure it's perfect.
