New Era (Poll)

Attention people, vote here (which I'd forgotten about). What I want to know is which of the New Era routes would you like to see brought in before the other? There will be another update for Blood legacies, but New era will have another one afterwards. So I wanted to know which of the routes I should bring first after the next bl update.

Ps: There will be an Eleazar pov later today. A request on tumbl about the scene after the mc/you is taken to the prisoner near the castle and fails to kill him.

And I also intend to bring a new translation and new options in New Era at a later date. Like, a lot later.

Update! Blood legacies [11/01/25]

N: Guys, most of the bugs have been fixed, at least the ones I've heard about so far. Also, the problem with the endless loading at the end of the demo has been fixed and you can now see the final scene.

Hello everyone, and sorry for the inactivity over the last month, it's been a busy few days for me. But things are starting to pick up again this January, and yes, I know I've already said twice that I'd continue to update more frequently, but I couldn't due to personal life issues. I apologize again, I've been busy with some animals here that have given me some extra work these weeks. (I took a fall from a horse hehe, but I'm fine.)

And important things to say.

Firstly: I didn't think the turnover had returned. I swear, I thought it would still be paused, even after the 21st, because there was literally a warning that payments wouldn't return until January 1st, which would give me time to bring you the update and give you advance notice of the discount code on subscriptions that would be available from the 25th. I apologize for my mistake, I really thought it was still paused. I only realized it wasn't when people started signing up again.

Secondly: From February there will be a 40% discount on subscriptions, and then in March I will lower the prices. The discount code will be available from February 2nd until March 2nd, the code is 3A524. I'll make it visible in the subscription descriptions ok.

And update available! I hope you like it. It's nowhere near what I'd hoped to bring so far, but it's the first of the last four updates that will be brought before we get to the start of the old demo, with more stuff, scenes, options and so on.

And I've added the suggestions... I just forgot to add the attempt to cross Eleazar with an ice spear that an anom asked me for, but hey, it'll still be brought in...

And try it out, just read and choose. There are several variations, and even extra scenes depending on your previous choices with Vul and more. Explore and learn. I like choices to have a lot of impact on actions and more, so keep an eye out and test. You may find more scenes and options that you like better than others.

There will be a vote tomorrow involving New Era (for the next update) ,Eleazar's Pov later (I'll also bring the Q&A post soon and you can make requests too) the special involving Tyler and another small update by the end of the month, maybe sooner because I'm already translating and writing what's coming next. I'm only putting it off a bit because I want to improve it and see if the scenes are really coherent, because there will be very, very important things happening, with choices that could have a big impact.

Ps: The word count is 173,000 but it's actually 191,000 words. I haven't changed it now because if I do, it could make your entire save start all over again. (I've added new codes and options at the beginning of part 2, and I hope this doesn't make you have to start all over again, but if it does, please let me know. Whether it's to fix bugs or whatever, let me know on tumblr or right here in private messages or in the comments section below, you choose)

And where before there weren't many scenes with Hayden .... well, now there are. And I intend to bring you other scenes and longer options with the other ro's too (Elia, Caio, Tyler and more....)

"What are you doing here?" You cross your arms, watching him lean against the tower wall.

Tyler laughs, the sound hoarse as he shakes his beer bottle." Isn't it obvious?"

"You should be in there." You point back at the doors, where the dance was taking place. He may be a bastard, but he's still a Krevan, he should be near his brothers, or at least with his uncle. As humble as Peter was, your father allowed him to be at the ball because he considered him one of the members of his army, although being a blacksmith doesn't involve him going into battle, your father found his gifts in the forge noteworthy.

"Why?" Tyler sneers." I don't dance or talk fancy enough not to want to punch one of them. And nobody wants me in there, and you know it." He lifts the mouth of the bottle back up to meet her mouth.

Sneak Peek [Blood Legacies] #2 (Hayden/Choice)

The corridors were wide, and yet there were too many people in them. Servants going from one side to the other, serving nobles, young, old and old. There were soldiers too, but not as many as before. Where once there had been rows in almost every corridor, now there were at most four or eight in each long hallway. Doors were open, windows too, and people were chatting, and yet it was so quiet, polite and low-key that the contrast with what it was like in the city gave you a slight feeling of dizziness, but it disappeared as quickly as it arrived.

Needless to say, you were an eye-catcher.

Hayden, Petrus' ${h_prin}, walking beside you, you, Darian's ${title} ${surname}. Whispers were made, and glances were lingered over. And there was no doubt that there would be gossip after and during this day.

"I thought you'd turn me down," Hayden said suddenly, causing you to give her/him a confused look. "Come with me." He/She explains.

"Why?"

"Duty." Hayden shrugs his/she shoulders, she/his expression bland." It seems to be quite important to you."

Sneak Peek [Blood Legacies] #3 (Cecilia/Choice)

"I don't like it." Cecilia comes up to you, a cautious glance in the direction of Lord Marin, who is talking to Lord Damiel." He doesn't like Darians. Why would he be talking to him?"

"I don't know." You answer, your eyes subtly going to them, and then back to meet Cecilia's green eyes." But Lord Damiel is one of those responsible for guarding the border between Darian and Suron. Do you think there might be something there?"

Cecilia remained silent for a brief moment, her eyes scanning the nobles." I'll talk to my father. He might know something."

"What if he doesn't?"

She glares at you." well... then maybe we'll have to find out."

Sneak Peek [Blood legacies] #1 (Hayden/choice)

You don't look at her/him when you answer, but you feel his/her gaze on you. It takes too long, and the silence that follows makes you feel nervous, which is even more ridiculous.You don't get nervous.

"Fine." Hayden sighs, and you almost do too, feeling stupidly relieved when those blue eyes and intense attention turn away from you." That's good to hear."

"Why?" The question comes out before you even realize it. It's quick, and curious.

Hayden looks at you, and this time you stare back." Because I'm wrong, and I know it sounds strange, but it's a relief."

"Being wrong?" You must look pretty confused, because Hayden laughs, looking incredibly lighter.

"Better not try to understand me, ${surname}." Hayden says." It'll only confuse your mind even more, and how will you realize how amazing I am if I'm a mess?" She/He winks, and you frown.

"You're unbelievable."

"And you're a mess." She/He jokes, smiling crookedly." But I like it."

You feel your heart race when you hear this, and no matter how much you scold yourself, your heart won't stop. Stupid.

New era (Update/25/10/24]

N/I found the bugs, including one that I forgot I didn't add, so it ended up being a bug involving Cassie and others. They've been fixed and you should be able to read it without any problems now. Thank you for warning about the bugs, everything should be available to read now.

Update available for New era my people! And yes, I know I've disappeared again. And sorry again, I forgot to bring you the progress updates and talk about a few things.

There were a few things that kept me busy, involving the health of my uncle (who ended up in hospital, again) and aunt, and also some problems with writer's block in certain scenes (I rewrote because of that). And other things, I won't go into too much detail now.

1 First: I'm still going to update and bring you Tyler's special, povs and more. But I'll be taking a break for a while, so I'll let you know when I'm back to billing. And I think that even though I'm taking a break, you'll still receive and be able to see the posts? I think so, but if not, let me know ok. I'll figure something out.

And 2: With the New Era update available and Blood Legacies coming (The Blood Legacies in December) I intend to bring the poll about the two new ro's (For New Era) ,publicly after posting one update publicly and one here.

3: Two are still incomplete, and one route as well, but I'll bring it back fully complete later.

For New Era : Remember that this update is the route that didn't break a certain ro arm, ok? Enjoy the tender, calm moments, they may not last long...

You knew who she was talking about, her colleagues and friends from the bus, who of all the people in there, only the three of you survived." But they're not. All because of our precious vampire creator and the assholes with the silver daggers." She frowns." That sounded better in my head. Silver daggers."

"Silver-plated." You correct." And it didn't sound so bad."

She stays silent long enough for you to wonder if she'll ignore your words, if she won't speak anymore, but when she finally decides to answer, the words make you freeze." I'm going to kill them."

"You shouldn't be here." Taylor walked up to you with wide eyes and rapid breathing. You smelled blood, saw the brief flicker of white in Dimitri's hand before he hid the dagger from view. Were they hunting? Have they killed or injured any of you? The smell of blood was too strong to ignore, but it wasn't the smell of human blood.

"You didn't answer my calls." You retort, trying to pretend you don't know exactly why. Looking behind Taylor, you see the other four hunters trying to disguise the fact that they couldn't hear the conversation as they turn towards the car." Why not?" The question had a double meaning. Why didn't you answer? Why shouldn't you be there? But all these questions you already knew, but what would Taylor say in the end?

"Please." Taylor reaches out for your elbow, pulling you gently away from the hunters just behind the car." Let's talk somewhere else, shall we?"

"Taylor -" You barely have time to finish speaking when you hear footsteps, and see three people emerge from the next alleyway. With dark masks, glowing red eyes, and no heartbeat. Vampires.

You see Taylor's shoulders tense up and the hand on your elbow increase its grip, as Taylor stands in front of you, partially covering you from the sight of the newly arrived vampires.

But what makes you tense is the sound of the hunters' blades and weapons being drawn from their hiding places for combat.

I know you must have your doubts about me, but I give you my word, if the hunters try to hunt you down, they'll have to go through me."Her gaze changes, her eyes narrowing into a darker expression."And no, that won't be as easy as you might think."

"Your word...." You comment, your gaze shifting briefly outside, to the sun rising behind the curtains at the window."Would you swear to me? That you would protect and stand by us in this?"

Alice nodded, her hands in her trouser pockets. I swear to you, none of you will die as long as I live."

"We're already dead." You point out, somewhat suspiciously.

"Not permanently." She corrects, and walks over to you, holding out her hand. "Do we have a deal?"

Progress Report (Blood Legacies/New era)

Hello my people, and as I said, progress updates, stopping by quickly to let you know that currently, the Blood Legacies update is at 3,000 and New was 8,000. The update for Blood Legacies, I hope, will be towards the end of the month. I'm not making any promises or dates, because I want to bring you a bigger update, so it will take a lot more time, but it will also be, well, bigger.

As for the New Era, the update will also be big, or at least it will be based on the word count of the last update, with the alliance route with Alice. But this update will involve the route where you don't break a certain person's arm and reveal yourself. (Yes, it's possible to do that 😇 )

But yeah, there will be a New Era update coming before the next Blood Legacies update.

And with the Blood Legacies update, I also intend to bring some options at the beginning, as suggested to me on the forum, more sarcastic options and more, and also more options for reactions in the scenes with Sir Fion, which depending on the mc, will be different. Plus a few small corrections and additions here and there. Remember, feedback is important, and I take suggestions into consideration, such as the one from one of you about you being able to have options that involved combining hand-to-hand skills and elemental power. That was a great suggestion, and it will be taken into account in combat scenes in the future. As well as advantages and disadvantages depending on the creature you have a bond with, and more unique abilities depending on each one.

In addition, I'll also be bringing you the special with Tyler this month. And then I'll make a post available for you to ask questions and make requests, but of course, if you want to leave one here, feel free, okay?

Blood legacies Update [24/09/24]

I know, I took one more day than expected. I was going to bring it yesterday, but ended up falling asleep, but I finished translating and checked some choices in case there are bugs. It is still possible to have bugs or translation errors, but if there are any, let me know, here, on the forums, or on tumblr (which I will check later), and I will fix them.

It's not a big update, and it doesn't bring all the routes. But in this update there is:

N:Bug with the scenes with Cecilia fixed.

Scenes in the city, and with Hayden.
Scenes with Cecilia, with two different routes depending on whether Gabriel is alive or not.

In the next update there will be a considerable advancement in the story, as I intend to bring the scenes from the ball and everything that happens there (which will be a lot, like, a lot, with important choices, especially with Cecilia and Hayden, the latter with whom you can have a confrontation and a direct conversation about the rumors, very direct, which will also bring many consequences. And with the other RO's as well).

In addition, there will be the optional trip to Valian, the continent where you can meet and finally interact with Nix again.

I was also undecided about the creature issue, so I will take a poll on whether you prefer to choose before or after. And yes, I will bring back the little wolf and more, if you chose to spare the cub.

And after all of that, and a little flashback, the scenes from the old demo will return, with a passage of time, and of course, expanded scenes, with better translation, more options, etc.

Blood Legacies Update [16/09/25]

Note: There were some bugs involving dialogs and options, which have now been fixed.

Sorry for the delay! Seriously, a thousand apologies, and thank you for your patience as well. A few things happened, including an accident involving my aunt and other things, so I've been busy and so has my family.

Here is the update, but regarding the special, I didn't translate everything because I ended up adding new scenes and options in the previous scenes (which I believe you will like), but I intend to bring it by the 18th, or even tomorrow, with a few more things. (I will also bring a private update this week, so stay tuned because by the 22st, there will indeed be a private update for those who are still subscribed on Patreon).

For those who were not aware, I had previously announced that I would bring this public update as it had been a long time and to compensate those who had subscribed but the month passed and they could not access the update I said they would have, I made it public.

My aunt had an accident over two weeks ago, broke her ribs, and even had internal bleeding. My mom was with her, and I taking care of my grandmother's house and also the animals, in addition to helping my sister who is also with my uncle who has problems. She spent over two weeks in the hospital and returned today. It was one thing after another, and I was going to bring the update on the 11th, but couldn't because I got sick, and only started feeling better yesterday, and today I feel much better, still coughing, but better. And my mom returned from the hospital with my aunt today, and as I am better, taking medicine for cough and fever, I will definitely have more time for writing.

I considered pausing due to how complicated things were around here, but I chose not to, not for now since things have improved a bit. But if a situation like this arises again, I will probably take a break to resolve things before continuing. I will notify if I pause and so on.

Bold (Nix Arren /Special Valentine Day's[1/2]) [Blood Legacies]

Apologies for the delay. I ended up getting sick a couple of times, and one of those times my eye got swollen because of some dirt that fell into it, and just yesterday I had a little trouble with a bee. Yes, a bee. I had gone out at night to check why one of my younger sheep was bleating as if something had hurt her (which it did, the bee). Fortunately, I'm fine, I had a swollen finger because of her (an eye and then a finger, my luck), but the stinger didn't get stuck (thank God, because it burned a lot), but unfortunately, one of my younger sheep wasn't as lucky. She got sick, and my mom, my uncle, and I didn't sleep well because she was very bad. With diarrhea and bleating, she is very small, and until tonight, she still wasn't doing well. We took care of her, and gave her a shot to help her, as she hadn't eaten since morning. But I hope she gets better by morning.

Anyway, sorry for the long delay. It's been busy days this month. Q&A Setember [Blood Legacies/New era]

Blood Legacy:

Blood Legacy: How would King Elkar and Duke Eleazar feel about the exchange of heirs?

Eleazar would make a giant effort not to strangle Hayden. The king would probably pretend as much as possible not to have a certain contempt for the MC, although there was the possibility of him simply sending the MC away to visit other houses and nobles, to avoid spending too much time with the MC. Partly because he is not very keen on the idea of wasting time with the MC, and partly because he is busy, and of course, he prefers not to have any connection, even temporary, with the MC.

Would King Elkar like his heir to be more stoic and pragmatic? How would Duke Eleazar deal with an heir like Hayden?

In part. The problem that King Martell sees in Hayden has to do with the fact that Hayden likes to provoke and annoy him. And of course, that Hayden takes things more seriously, which they did, but for a short period. And probably if such an heir were at least capable of fighting well, Eleazar wouldn't mind as much. What matters most to Eleazar in terms of politics and heir is how efficient the heir can be in combat, and with the nobles. As long as there are no bastards involved or weaknesses, Eleazar wouldn't be too bothered by an heir like Hayden.

Blood Legacy: Last time I read the demo, the MC thought about mentioning their sister when Hayden talked about seeing mermaids. Is that true, did the MC have a sister?

I'm afraid that was a translation error on my part 😅 I was looking for that mistake, because I hadn't even noticed it until now. But thank you for pointing it out, as I wouldn't have tried to revise if there hadn't been a mention.

Blood Legacy: This may be intentional, but I'm not sure. Thori Arteris and Hayden are friends? Cecilia says no, but Hayden talks about them dueling together.

Nope, they definitely are not. When Hayden mentions the training, they do it for the purpose of teasing each other, albeit subtly. Because Thori loses badly to Hayden, and Hayden joked about it because Thori had said he only fell to show something to Hayden, but the reality is that Thori lost and fell, so Hayden joked about it, because he also knew it wasn't intentional. Thori knows that Hayden partly doesn't believe him, but will pretend that he does to protect his pride.

New Era: I'm curious to know if there was any inspiration when you created New Era.

Answer: There definitely was. But it was a mix. The idea of the MC's hypnotic gift came from The Vampire Diaries. The idea of gifts and certain abilities, like vampires' more resistant skin, came from my fascination with the gifts and vampires in Twilight, yes, Twilight 😆 Meyer may fail in terms of healthy relationships and romance, but I found the world-building and vampires (except for the sparkling like a fairy part) cool. Before writing New Era, I read a lot of Anne Rice's books and simply loved her writing and story. It's no wonder I had the desire to make an IF like that. But the idea of the MC being a teenager in school mainly came from the influence of Teen Wolf.

Q: Between the ROs and the MC, who is the strongest and weakest in terms of combat when the MC is leaving the academy to protect Nyx? Also, what does Hayden think of an MC who feels hurt/betrayed by her promiscuity?

The strongest in terms of combat at the Academy would be Hayden. They are not only great with their elemental abilities but also very skilled in sword combat and more.

And Hayden would probably feel like a total idiot because initially, Hayden didn't think about what the MC would feel when they did what they did. They were angry and hurt, and of course, they knew that sooner or later, the MC would find out. Hayden knows that the MC could think very badly of them and never want anything to do with them again, and although they would probably feel hurt by it, Hayden understands, and wouldn't blame the MC for feeling that way, or for fighting or not wanting anything to do with them anymore.

Q: What are your inspirations when writing Blood Legacies? I noticed that Petrus and Daria resemble the Andals (South) and the First Men (North) of Game of Thrones. Did Eleazar and Alexandra have any animal or creature when they were younger? What would Eleazar's reaction be if the MC gave their child the name Sir Fion or Alexandra? If there is no guarantee of elemental birth, why don't elementals have multiple partners or concubines? Is it more difficult for Eleazar to train an MC who resembles his wife than one who resembles exactly him? It seems that Alexandra attracted attention when she was younger. Was it because she was very beautiful or for some other reason? Are there phoenixes in this world because my MC's house symbol is an ice dragon, so I was thinking about it. Hope you're doing well.

I talked about this in a post before, my inspirations. I'll add the link soon for you to take a look. But to answer the questions.

Mainly I was inspired by Arthurian legends, and Hayden would be a descendant of Arthur Pendragon, The mc of Mordred (that's why all the Norton being a traitor thing, he was supposed to be Mordred), and Cecilia and Caio would be descendants of the Green Knight. I didn't do this because I wasn't sure about the copyrights, so I gave up bringing this from Arthurian legends.

But I didn't get inspired or think about the Andals and the First Men when creating Petrus and Darian, their peoples and their culture. The Game of Thrones inspiration I had involving Blood Legacies is the issue of noble houses and the fact that Darian is mostly snowy (like the north in GoT), although there is a large part that doesn't have snow.

The military and political culture in Darian is inspired by Kryptonian culture, yes, Kryptonian. At least in terms of military matters, and the breeding chamber (I was inspired by the gene chamber in the movie Man of Steel), but the rest, like culture, rites, etc., was not inspired by Kryptonian culture. Only the military aspect and the creation of children through chambers.

And Eleazar didn't, but Alexandra had a favorite horse, but it died in battle. If it were Sir Fion, Eleazar would be irritated and disgusted by the name, as in his view it would be the name of a traitor. But for Alexandra, Eleazar would be very happy.

And because it's culture and tradition. although yes, there would be a greater chance of elemental offspring. Many prefer not to have more than one partner, by choice or tradition. Regardless of anything.

And probably someone like Alexandra. And both were very beautiful and talented.

And yes, there are phoenixes in this world.

Hello everyone, sorry for the delay but I'm here. I haven't been very active because I'm busy over here, writing and still finalizing some things for Blood Legacies before bringing it.

"Is this it?" Cassie grimaces. "Seriously, near a cave? Wouldn't it be more traditional to have a cauldron with, I don't know, stuff in the middle of a cave or something?"

"He shouldn't be like Merlin, right?" Diego asks, looking fearful.

"I doubt it. What sorcerer would be better than him?"

"Wizard," you correct. "And I see the house." The house. It was tall, two stories with a balcony below and above. A window on each side of the doors, and a wooden step. The color was a light brown, and you could see red curtains inside, behind the glass. There was indeed a cave nearby, but it was more distant, dark, full of roots at the entrance.

There were also numerous stones circling the place, from the small garden to behind the house.

You didn't hear anything, not from inside the house nor the cave. "I can't hear anything."

"Neither can I," Cassie said, and as they looked at Diego, he shook his head. "Do you think it's magic? I don't know, a spell?"

"It must be. Why else couldn't we hear any sounds there? And you guys can't see the house." You comment.

"But you can." Cassie responds, looking at you. "Do you think Alice did something to you without us noticing?"

"I have no idea." You wouldn't doubt Alice, but if she had done something so that only you could see the house, how could she have done it? And why didn't she do it for herself or others to enter? "But it would make no sense. She would have come herself or sent someone."

"That's strange."

"I know," you say, taking a step forward. "But we should follow her instructions. I'll go in, you wait, hidden, and if you hear something, let me know in some way, but don't come in. Got it?"

"Yes, yes, we get it," Cassie waves her hand. "Danger, death, etc. Just make it quick. If he's around, we could be in serious trouble."

Demo Update [Blood Legacies] (05/09/24)

I brought the update! I won't go into details about why I was late, but here I am. Update is a bit short, but the next one will be more extensive, and by more extensive, I mean it will go all the way past the ball, which will have many, many extremely important scenes and decisions.

Fun fact: In Petrus, it's more common/customary to address nobles by their title and first name, while in Darian, they are addressed by their title and surname.

Sneak Peek [Blood Legacies] Update Coming soon

Did I take long? I did. Did I disappear? I did 😅 And I apologize for that, but I am with the update, I just have to finish some scenes. But I have to translate everything and check for bugs, etc, at least in Blood Legacies. In New Era, I will bring more scenes before posting the update. I will bring the update on the 5th, as tomorrow I will translate and review everything. I will also talk about some things later this month, such as:

- The next Valentine's Day specials: Voting and more.
- New Era: Update and retranslation.
- Taylor's POV part 2.
- Q&A for this month.

If you notice that I am a bit absent, don't worry, I am probably doing something related to the work in progress or other things at home.

"Did you find any traces?" Cecilia asks, approaching you.

"I believe so." You said, standing up as you saw heavy footprints in the mud that lead to the entrance of the cave. From there, you hear the distinct sound of footsteps, and draw your sword from its sheath, while Cecilia takes her bow and arrow out of the quiver. Both of you with eyes on the darkness of the huge cave ahead.

It was more than three meters high, anything could come out from there. And you definitely weren't going to risk it.

"Who's there?!" Cecilia questions, the arrow already pointing in that direction. There was more than one. Three, you realize.

"Well, you're not exactly who I was expecting." The voice was hoarse and masculine, and when he finally emerged from the shadows, your gaze went down to meet his eyes with wrinkles around his face. What caught your attention the most about him was the blood dripping from his mouth. It seemed like he had been punched, as his nose was crooked.

He sniffs, and the two large orcs by his side move, both tall and strong, with iron chest plates and shoulder pads, and brown leather pants. Their skin was gray, and one of them had a broken tooth, which did not go unnoticed by you. Twins, with one of them having shaved hair and the other bald, with red eyes and axes in each hand.

"You're a bit far from the swamps to be wearing a crocodile leather jacket." Cecilia said, narrowing her eyes. "Tell us what you're doing here, now." Cecilia doesn't ask about the heirs, and she shouldn't. But if he knows, it means he saw them, it means he might have something to do with what you saw near the waterfall.

"Taking care of my business, for your information, little lady." He retorts. "Before you nosy ones started poking around where you shouldn't." He takes a deep breath, but before you and Cecilia can question him, he continues. "Now, I have no choice but to make a deal with you."

"What kind of deal?" You said, keeping your distance and looking from the orcs to the dwarf in the middle of them.

The smirk he gives you is full of contempt, but also contained anger. "The most scandalous one, apparently."

Hello guys, here I am again. Smelled like trouble, and problems. It reminds you of what Hayden himself did, sneaking out, and if he had influenced the two heirs to do the same? Maybe he was after...

He opens the door, and you enter, the other three following to stand on each side and behind you.

Cecilia was leaning on a table with crossed arms, looking at Hayden with what seemed to be frustration, and Hayden was sitting on the bed with shoulders slumped and hands together. Caio and Elia were on the opposite side, both looking concerned.

When you enter, followed by Asther, Vax, and Tyler, everyone looks at you. Cecilia surprised, while Hayden shrinks with a grimace, cursing under his breath.

"Cecilia." You call, staring at her. "What's going on?"

Cecilia sighs, moving away from the table and looking over your shoulder. "Tyler, what did you say-"

"Don't blame him. He did what he had to do." You interrupt. "Explain."

She returns the gaze to you. "It's nothing you need to worry about. I'll handle this." She says, with a softer look. "You should be resting."

Cecilia clenches her jaw but responds. "Nothing serious. just a few... inconveniences." She says, looking at you, as hesitant as she may be. "Nothing I can't handle. It's okay."

"Tell me..." You cross your arms and gesture with your head to Vax, who leaves and closes the door to stand guard outside, and you return your gaze to the Marven heiress. "Why did one of the heirs of one of the most important houses in Darian disappear with a Petrus boy without their families knowing?"

Cecilia takes a deep breath and shakes her head, turning her back. This seemed to be the cue for Hayden to speak, looking at you with a tense smile.

"They... wanted to explore the city. Lady Ilia offered to help."

"Without anyone else knowing besides you?" You squint your eyes. "Lady Ilia was sick, in her room. And the boy tired. And even if both of them had recovered, neither of them would be allowed to leave together. Lord Robert would never let his nephew walk with a girl from Darian, let alone a Balek."

Hayden laughs, raising his hand. "There it is, the reason why they didn't tell their families."

You take two steps closer to Hayden. "Where did they go? Do you realize the trouble this could cause?"

"Oh come on, it's not that big of a deal. It's not like it's a crime. They just wanted some time alone without anyone bothering them." He says as if it's no big deal. But the truth is much darker.

"Hayden-"

"They love each other." Cecilia interrupts, turning to you. Releasing an irritated sigh and a look at Hayden. You blink, trying to understand if you heard correctly. "They love each other, they've been dating for some time. The parents don't know, but Hayden noticed, he found out..." Cecilia grits her teeth, looking even more intensely at Hayden, who clenches his jaw and keeps his gaze on the floor of the room. "And he helped them leave the castle to be alone. He-" Cecilia points. "Covered for them."

You clench your fists. "Is this true?"

Hayden scoffs but nods with his eyes on the floor, and with a tired voice, he responds, "Yes. It is."

"Where are they?" No response. "Hayden! Where are they?!"

Hayden sighs, turning his gaze back to you. "In the forest, they went to the forest. Ilia said they were going to the Asgal waterfall, wherever that is. But she said they would be back soon." $!{h_he} stands up, hands raised in surrender. "Look, no need to worry so much, ${surname}. They'll be back soon. Before nightfall."

"That was yesterday." Cecilia says, making Hayden shrink, and you look at her. She shakes her head. "We don't know what happened, just that they should have come back at least by yesterday afternoon, but they hadn't returned by this morning. They left yesterday, during his escape."

"You..." You look incredulously at Hayden. "You ran away to draw attention to yourself, while everyone was worried and looking for you, they took advantage. Didn't you?"

Hayden doesn't respond, just looks away guiltily, crossing his arms and turning away from you, confirming your words. You couldn't imagine they were so clever, but also so foolish. What if the heirs were dead? Or worse?

Cecilia looks at Caio and Elia. "We thought of going after them, before any relative or servant went to their rooms and found out what happened." She explains. "I managed to make sure no one knew they were missing, that they didn't suspect. But that's temporary. We need to find them and bring them back."

"And you didn't think to call me?" You ask. "Lady Balek is Darian, my people, my responsibility."

Cecila swallows hard. "I thought... I thought it wouldn't be a good idea. You were tired, you had just been through what you went through, I didn't... want to worry you."

"I asked her not to tell." Hayden says, and you see him turn to you, his gaze serious and determined, but his mouth trembling. "I didn't think it would be a good idea."

You were tempted to ask why, but Elia takes a step closer to you, drawing your gaze back to her. "Aren't we wasting time? They may need us now."

"She's right." Asther says, looking at you. "${name}, It's Ilia Balek, we need to go to her. Bring her back."

"And Ventos." Cecilia says.

"I couldn't care less about him." Asther retorts, surprising you with the venom in his voice. "He must have deceived Ilia, seduced her to bring shame to the Balek house, there is no doubt about that. If he's alive, may he not have dishonored her, or I will castrate him before the Balek family has a chance."

"Asther." You call, raising a hand to calm him, but not touching him. "I don't like Lord Robert's family as much as you do, but Cecilia is right, we need them both alive, or we'll have some explaining to do that will bring even more problems."

You look at Hayden as you say this, causing him to shrink. He knew it was his fault, he covered for them, he helped them. What would the nobles say if they knew that the future ruler of Petrus had done what he did? What would the king say or do?

This no longer affected just two houses, but all families, including the royal family. The repercussions and complications were numerous, they could bring war, judgment, and a burden on the royal family that could lead to chaos.

Darians and Petrunians are not forbidden to marry, to love, but the few who do always bring problems, and sometimes even death. Besides exclusion, there could be fighting over territory issues between the houses, there could be guilt and punishments or even judgment for you, for your family in this specific case. It's no wonder that marriages between Petrunians and Darians are only more accepted when they're commoners, but nobles? No. Nobles have lands, inheritances, and strong lineages. Most believe that mixing bloodlines through marriage and children would stain the blood and legacy left by their ancestors.

Some even think that maybe it was a plot to take the lands for Darian or Petrus. Or that the union in this way would be cursed, that it could bring much evil... There are many stories, many things said to justify the non-union of blood and marriage between Darians and Petrunians.

The truth is that Petrus and Darian may be allies, but they were far from loving each other. Like a loveless marriage, full of past resentments, and myriad fears about the future.

You can already imagine what Lord Robert would say at the council. "She seduced him! She wanted to kill him! Or shame him! Your Majesty, without a doubt, the Duke was aware! It was on his lands, he should have known, he must have let the girl take him! This is an outrage, Your Majesty must punish them for this shame!" And in truth, you believed he believed that, but you also knew his fear beyond this would be that some, if not all the lands of his family, would become Darian property, not Petrus, thus becoming vassals of your family, and not Petrus.

The fear would be that they would become Darians, they would become part of Darians. At least partially, but the partial part would be ignored, of course. Besides, the final word would be from the king, but the fear would still be there. After all, your father wouldn't allow Darian lands to be annexed by the Petrunians.

"They'll be back soon." Hayden says, snapping you out of your thoughts and your gaze, which huddled the body. "They must... they must just be enjoying their time alone, that's all."

If someone or something has gotten hold of them..." You clench your jaw, turning your gaze with a grunt, both of anger and frustration. You don't have a moment of peace, do you? No. Of course not.

"You don't have to go." Cecilia says, bringing your attention back to her. "If you don't want to. I know you're tired and you deserve to rest more than anyone." She points to the others. "We can handle this, we'll figure it out. I promise."

"You can't promise that." You reply. "And I will, it's my responsibility as well, whether I want it or not."

Cecilia nodded, although she didn't seem so certain.

"Let's go." The voice was Caio's, who spoke for the first time in the room, drawing everyone's attention. It didn't seem to be his intention, or something he liked, as he shivered under the glances, crossing his arms, looking smaller than he really is next to Elia. "Please. They... they may need us now." His gaze was on Cecilia, just as hers was on him, something unsaid passing between them.

Cecilia goes to her brother, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Okay, let's go. I'll send a message to my father, telling him we went out for a walk. The king won't like it, but with all of us together, that should calm him down, at least a bit."

Hayden huffs but says nothing, just glancing away to the side.

"Good." You look at Asther. "Find Kori and Sofia, they may be useful."

Asther nodded with a somber look, leaving the room, and everyone moves to do the same.

New era [Tumblr]

(My people! I am alive! And currently working on chapter 3 of New Era and an update for my other fantasy WIP. So you understand well, I am rewriting chapter 3, in part, because I was unsatisfied with the direction it was going and ended up getting blocked, so I redid everything, and created and organized new scenes from the beginning to the end of chapter 3, and also chapter 4.

The update? I hope to bring it soon (I know, I know 😅😅 it's been more than two months, and soon is not exactly what I've brought so far. I'm sorry, I genuinely was going to bring chapter 3 after some time of the update on Patreon, but things happened and I changed my mind about the things in chapter 3) but more precisely, I plan to bring it about 10 days after the update on Patreon, at least the first part, the second part will come later.

And I'm having crazy ideas (in a positive way, not negative, calm down) about retranslating and adding choices to chapters 1 and 2 of New Era. It will be something similar to what I did in my other WIP, but first I will talk to you about it, explain exactly what I will do, and all of you will vote yes or no after I present the options and tell you scenes and things that I will add in this retranslation. Then you will decide, all of you, and vote in a poll about it.

A tiny piece of these ideas so you don't get too anxious would be to set the beginning of the WIP after 6 months, and not a year later, which would bring new options and scenes, including Jason (He was a RO before, but I ended up removing him as an option because I couldn't come up with ideas that moved forward with him), and one of the ideas/scenes would be the MC transforming him after an accident (although I am still considering changing this about whether it would be an accident or not), or not, and saving his life? And it would also include some other things involving Taylor, Alice, Cassie, and even Diego.
Just to give you an idea: It would involve decisions of the MC to stay away or not, if maybe the MC/you would talk to Taylor when they shouldn't be, still trying to control themselves.... Or Alice, who depending on some choices could be a support/refuge for the MC, the same with Cassie and some other things....

Progress Report [New era/Blood Legacies]

Hello everyone, and now, about what I wanted to talk. I ended up getting confused with the codes, and saw that it would be a headache to fix everything correctly with the consequences of previous choices, so to solve this and be able to write with more organization and know each code better, I put several choices at the beginning to determine the choices and their consequences from chapters 1 and 2, and this will also give you the opportunity to explore other scenes as well, without some of you having to start over.

Important Details: First, I have redone and am redoing Chapter 3. It was a decision I made for the sake of development and everything else, as I had a block and found some rushed and not very good things in what I wrote. Except for the scenes of the meeting at the beginning (to which I added some things).

So I redid it, and don't worry about the blockage, because when I chose to redo it, I created and organized each scene and decisions and their consequences.

Second: There will literally be two files of scenes and routes, because whether Taylor knows about what you are or not, that changes things drastically, in addition to Alice's agreement, which will also influence the scenes a lot, so as not to confuse myself, I created two files of scenes, and in Chapter 4 (in which I already have the scenes organized and possible choices), these routes will collide at certain moments, so it will end up that Chapter 4 will be one file, although the different routes will still have their differences.

Third: The enemy that appears at the end of the update of chapter 3 will still appear. Just not in chapter 3 anymore... although there will be a similar appearance later, without Taylor questioning about Carlos and the MC.

[New era / Blood Legacies] Fourth but not least: I know there are incomplete scenes in Chapter 2, I intend to resolve this later. I am currently writing the scenes for New Era, and for Blood Legacies (The next update), there are already some written but not yet finalized with codes, translation, etc. I believe this will be released sooner than New era (which will be long, considering the scenes I intend to implement). But I can't promise anything, New era may come out before or after the Blood Legacies update.

And Fifth [New era]: I created a new link only with the file of chapter 3 and the two routes, to facilitate as well. In addition, I will also organize the issue of whether or not you will have gifts, fighting abilities. I firmly believe that what I have planned and am writing is much better, much better, than what I did before in the New era update.

About the sidequest with....

Hello my people, I came here to talk to you about Nix, as I basically have ideas for a sidequest with them, and to explain some things.

1: It will be optional: Meaning, you can choose not to do the mission that your father does. But if you choose to do it, you will literally have almost a mini chapter all in Valian, the fae territory. Where Nix is. The only issue here is that you would literally only have Nix as a choice, you may be able to flirt with some faeries or something like that? Perhaps, but the main and only romantic option there will be Nix, at least until you return to Darian and Petrus later.

2: It will indeed have importance in the main plot, your choices will impact the plot, it could even generate drama and conflict depending on your choices.... Although you are not obligated to go, basically this mission is a complementary one, which can help discover certain things and make important decisions. It's not mandatory, you can choose not to go, and the main plot will continue, the difference being that there will be no contact with Nix, the faerie court, etc., and you may or may not discover some things beforehand.

3: This sidequest with Nix present will only have the option to go after the ball, which will also have some very important things happening....

4: I will create a file with scenes and start-up completely separate from the link and main demo files, to make it easier for me to write and code, so that I don't get confused, etc., so that I only merge this scenes file (when I finish it) with the demo scene files. Valentine Day Special (Cecilia)[Blood legacies]

I took longer than a day, and I apologize. It was supposed to be posted yesterday, but I hadn't finished translating all the scenes yet, but I did it today, and brought it to you. And to my surprise, it reached 9,600 words, yeah, almost 10,000, and it made me think about the scenes that I didn't include in Hayden's Valentine's Day special, thinking they weren't necessary, but maybe I'll implement them later if you want, and I'll talk about deleted scenes later.
