Hello people! Here is a small scene from the game. First, it would be a dialogue with answer options, but I thought it was too similar to other scenes in the game, so I thought about using some music and dance animations that I had downloaded.
I wish I had already finished the test version at least, but I spent a lot of time trying to improve the look of the game. The biggest difficulty is that I made the lighting dynamically change according to the time of day and I hadn't seen how muc...

Hello people, I'm happy to show you this almost all-colored bar.

As you can see, there is still one scene left, but I’ve already prepared most of the animations and I don’t think I’m going to spend more than a day working on this.
I want to spend at least a day reviewing all the scenes before proceeding and maybe making some shots that I can show you.
Then it will be time to ...

Hello friends! This week I made some changes that I think have improved the game a lot.
Before, I was working with a system of "small talks", similar to dialogues in adventure games. The problem is that these parts got boring and out of place, seeming to ask the player to skip.
So I decided to waste a day rewriting these expository dialogues into scenes with context and some jokes (I'm doing my best with writing, I just hope you like it). Only two scenes have been altered, one has...

Hi people, here is the weekly report again.

This week I worked almost exclusively on the scenes. I rethought the activation logic of the scenes and so the number of blocks is different, but nothing in the script has been changed.
You can see that I put colorless images in some blocks, this is because I started to set up the scene but there are still some details to complete.
That's...

Hello people! Here we go with the weekly report.

I spent most of the week reworking details and adding clothes to the characters. Nicole got tattoos and all women got makeup. I haven't added pubic hair yet, it's not a complicated thing to do, but I prefer to move on for now, so it won't come in the next version yet.
I added some objects to Brendon's room, and a new scenery was added. The...

I decided to create a progress bar because it will help me to organize the work process. I think the most important thing to say is that the fewer gray blocks, the closer I will be to release the update. Each block is a step of the job and the length of the block represents the time I plan to spend on each step. Of course, the step may take more or less time to complete and I may include some steps, so this bar will always be changing.

Here is the first playable demo. This is not yet a game release, it is just a snippet of what is going to be released soon. I plan to release a demo before each public release as an exclusive gift for supporters. I'm making this demo available for Windows in 64 and 32 bit, in a zip that you can unzip anywhere and run "Sneak Peeking.exe", and also in an installer. There are also versions for Mac and L...

On Monday, two things insisted on not working properly, the save system and the roll-back function. So I thought it would be worth spending a day scanning all the code behind everything that needed to be saved.
Well, the work took much longer than a day, and on Friday I was still hunting for bugs. But I must say it was worth it, the save system is powerful and seems to be working perfectly and the roll-back is smooth as a Ren'Py game.

I decided to spend a good part of this week recreating my shaders. I solved some problems with the brightness, eliminated some unnecessary details, and the shadows are much better.
Shaders are responsible for telling the video card what to do with textures, shapes, and lights. For me, shaders have always been a nightmare, they use a different programming language, and small changes generate dra...

I’m proud of my face animation system, even though it’s still not perfect, because it was the first thing I programmed from scratch and it was what made me think that I could create a game with more details, automating the time-consuming animation processes.
What I show in this video is just the result of the automatic applications. Here you see how the character comes to life, even before I open the timeline to configure the animations in the traditional way.
In the end, I co...

Hello visitors. I want you to meet Wanda Titball (the short-haired chick) and Tiffany Nutter (the mohawk chick). These two beauties volunteered to help me demonstrate some Malixe Tools features.
There is nothing very elaborate in this video, just me playing with characters inside the Unity editor, but it is possible to see some of what I already created for the game, such as:
- The new characters design;
- The new shaders created for the g...
