Old College Comic

When I was at Truman State, I drew comics for the student paper. They weren't especially refined (considering the amount of classwork I had), but this was one of my most popular comics. 

I recently stole the "There's popcorn in my sneakers" line and used it in this comic. (I'm not sure if you can steal from yourself, though)

Rough Sketch

Hey guys! 

So I've been working on a new ongoing series which should premiere in a month or two. I'm pretty excited about it!

And while I'm still keeping the title and plot a secret, here's a sneak peak at the (very) rough sketch for the first comic.

Unused comic idea #9

When I came up with this in the shower, I couldn't tell if it was genius or stupid. 

Once I stepped into the cold light of day and sketched it out, I realized it was one of the dumbest comics I had ever thought of.

Also, I wrote "me on" instead of "be on". Needless to say, my brain was not working at full capacity during this whole fiasco.

Godspeed

Fun fact: The comic Pyramid Scheme  was never actually finished. Originally, it included the panel above. But the deadline was getting closer and closer, and I needed to get the comic posted. So I decided the final panel was unnecessary, and posted the comic without it.

I may add it on eventually (as I think it makes things a little funnier), but for now, it only exists as a sketch.

Unused comic idea #8

So this one was kind of a mess.

This was one of the first black and white comics I had planned. It would've had one of the bunnies listing off all their friends who had been killed by predators, while casually listing the specific species responsible. Underneath would've read "The troubles of being a prey animal" or something like that.

Despite being woefully unfunny, the copied and pasted bunnies look terrible. And I never had an urge to go back and redraw them. Leaving this com...

The First

This is the very first comic I ever digitally drew. As you can see, it took me quite awhile to get the hang of working on a computer. At the time, I didn't know how to customize colors, create a gradient, alter opacity, and I was very unsure using a drawing pad. But you got to start somewhere.
