A most bountiful harvest at the post office! My Chocola/Alicornia icon ears from Catzo Club have arrived. Burger Buddies and above with Snapchat got some fun snaps yesterday! And they're GORGEOUS!

Second monthly print draw!

Wow! I never expected to get over 20 patrons. Thank you to everyone who has joined me on this journey. <3

New stuff for cosplay and updates!

So I went on a bit of an online shopping spree this weekend... Ooops.

I really liked using the green sheet to make the (digitally) smooth background behind Yumeko, but the green is pretty harsh. So I bought a pink and a sky blue backdrop to play around with for my next shoots. I know I can just use gel lights on a plain background as well, but currently no photographer I have spoken to has given me a for sure answer about which speed lights and transmitters I should buy to work with my ...

New Asuka album online - Sundress (w/ Shinji)

Despite the bright sun and savage wind that wanted to DESTROY my wig, FunkSoul's Madoka and I managed to get some cute shots in our casual Evangelion looks. Here's a sneak peek of the album that went up for Cheesecake Chums and above.

This dress was a last minute idea that was fun to wear out casually before the con started. I love casual cosplay - you never need to worry about normie clothes at a con! :P

I wasn't expecting to be so satisfied with these photos of Djeeta. Since one of her shoots was cancelled at YetiCon, I originally planned to have a shoot in the forest if I could track down a photographer in town. Especially since I didn't finish her boots in time...

But this photographer managed to catch a lot of great shots both with my armour and without. (Although I am looking a little Mom-ish here XDD) I plan to wear this dress casually, and since I am not thrilled with my armour, ...

Holo WIPs and the Night Before Aikon

Well. Technically Aikon starts Friday, but I have to leave Thursday morning. I am probably going to wear this corset to save my sanity so I don't pull an all-nighter on this last minute cosplay. 😅 It's a bit long, so it is slightly making wearing the tail awkward.

I look like a Ukrainian dancer! I didn't take any photos with the tail because I forced myself to sleep.

His style is very different from DreamLifestyle's. That's what I love about going to cons and working with so many different photographers! They each show a unique side to your cosplay.

Fake apples and beer mug for Holo!

This looks so cute and country. I am really looking forward to wearing this outfit! There's a chance I will have some medieval style coins and the Lawrence doll in time for Aikon, too!

Had a really bad night working on her corset. I kept sewing the pieces on the wrong way and then undoing the wrong seams... 🙄

Holo WIP #2

I completely forgot to share this! In the top photo only the red layer was actually sewn, but now both are ready.



I find hemming by double-folding to be very satisfying. All the ugly raw edges are trapped inside!



It can also look interesting when the sides of the fabric are different.

Djeeta Album Online!

My small album of Djeeta photos will be up in the morning. I have also paid to have two more photos from the set edited for me, so stay tuned for more pictures of my precious pink girl! My favourite photos of the five Past Reflections sent me are the ones without armour, so I picked out two with my armour and sword. I gotta show off that pauldron!
