Happy Halloween! 🎃

I went through a few looks today - lazy office Velma, lazy Velma but with a skirt, and pj Pumbaa for handing out candy.

I hope everyone who celebrates enjoyed Spooky Month! I had hoped to get better photos of Velma, but my wig and socks went MIA, and the trick-or-treaters started popping up... (also there was a grease fire???) ... so that mirror selfie is your teaser for a future shoot!

Besides, clearly THESE mirror selfies are all you need!

Mermaid WIP #3 - Tipping the scales

Got a little production line of scales for the mermaid's dress going last night. Finished all 9 of the first row on aqua - now I get to do it twice more for the seamfoam and yellow-green layers... 🤪

I am sewing a layer of shiny, sheer lining fabric onto a sturdy, opaque layer of cotton. This way the scales have a sheen to them but the colour isn't muddied with all the layers stacked together. (I had a hard time finding all the colours I needed in a better fabric and didn't feel like...

Mermaid WIP #2 -mocking up dress and making buttons

Hello! I promise I am working on my Colossal North cosplays... I started mocking up the mermaid dress with some similar fabric using the exact same base pattern I created for bunny Diane - I put them together for a family photo. 😁 (Also yes I will finish Diane, I SWEAR IT) I have a lot of "scales" to plan out...

In addition to that, I got some giant tubs of foam clay and started her buttons using my seashell mold! Trust the process...

Mermaid WIP!

I decided to shelve the Space Dandy character until maybe next year. There are too many things I want to work on right now. 😫

I am getting started with Amame Doi or "The Mermaid" for now. I have fabric and a delightful candy mold to make my seashell buttons. I have started patterning out the dress using the same basic pattern upon which I based Diane's bunny dress. (She's almost done, btw)

We had a little con in town this past weekend, and I wore cheer Sabrina and poodle skirt Ariel. I upped my cheer look with pom poms this time! RAH RAH!

Met a cool dude who was dressed as Mikey eyy 🐢🧡 And it was great to see lots of folks in the cosplay community out and about again.

Bridesmaid selfie and new sticker!

Last weekend, I was a bridesmaid for the first time! It was my bestie's (Auragale) wedding, and it was lovely. Rather than one colour, we had a dark rainbow of dresses. I snagged the red one, of course. 😎

It was my first time wearing hair extensions, too. I felt fabulous~

We also have a new Nia sticker to match the Ali "BAKA" sticker I made. (I REALLY need to update my Storenvy... 😅) She will be added as a Discord/Twitch emote soon, too.

Ann at Yeticon!

I snuck in some new Ann photos at Yeticon this past June. They are super cute, but it was SO bright and windy that we seemed to take them all in the same sheltered spot. 😅 Oh well, this candy stick makes me happy.

I was hoping to make September a "back to school with Ann and Rise" month, but I am still waiting to hear back from my two Rise shoots at Ai-Kon. I may release Yura (was planning to save her for the spooky month) instead.

Inosuke goofiness

I had a free shoot with Lurker Photography at Ai-Kon (got some photos with Ashe as Nezuko too!), and boy did we get some silly shots.

It was great to wear pig boi again (with a new top so I wouldn't have to ask 3 people to help wrap me up), but oh lawd was it HOT at this con. I was cold most of Yeticon, so I was startled to find myself melting in Inosuke's various furs this time. 😅

I will share more Inosuke photos this month (plus boudoir Ali!), with Yura to come in September...

Return of the Rise! (And Ai-Kon)

I have another con this weekend ~ I decided to bring back my pink and purple Rise outfits for new photos and a new scene.

If you recall, I didn't actually finish the Arabian (purple) costume for Daishocon 2019. I have tried to fix it up a bit - the scarves actually have trim now! (Swipe)

I will also wear Inosuke and Asuka again for photos with friends. 🥰
