Hey folks, sorry for the spacing in posting. Life events have cut down the time I'm able to put towards she-bulk and the game right now. Normally I get 12 - 16 hours a week to work on things amd post. Right now I'm getting 30 minutes or less a week. Good news is that this is not permanent. Things will go back to normal in two weeks. I may be able to get up dialog snippets, or some more AI images, if anyone is interested in that sort of thing.

I hit kind of a brick wall so I decided to just start at the beginning.
I found myself toying with a whole bunch of things, code, images, assets but until this last week I didn't feel like I made any progress. I started posing the images for the "right after" part of the end of the last weights reveal scene. That's when things started making sense again. This my typical long winded way of saying things are moving forward!

That's a fancy way of saying I'm gonna try and do a "Danielle - work" approach for each activity. Meaning, each activities first new scene will be full renders, then the repeat with be sprites with the potential for some full scenes being and "end cap".
These are a few I whipped up for the beach scene.
This should be very doable for the beach scene this time around, I will try this for another one as well.

Now that this version is pretty wrapped up, my plans for the next version include:
- Updating one activity so that it has a "full scene intro" like the office activity, this will probably be the beach, other will follow in subsequent versions
- Adding the Sherry and other office stuff
- Continuing the story
- Adding the vanilla conversation options

I tried a few fixes for the infinite loop, this hopefully takes care of that problem.
I also fixed a myriad of typos and some inconsistencies.
The other fix is for the weight stages of the work activity, you'd see the new stage before the weight gain scene. This makes it so that if you choose to visit Danielle at work before seeing the weight gain scene it skips straight to lunch then the afternoon goes as normal.

...is an infinite pain in my ass!
I have never been able to recreate this error consistently, so it's been hard for me to pinpoint.
But enough have come up where I believe I am able to triangulate the origin point.
I think it has to do with part of the day cycle. The issue is that I'm afraid this will take some major restructuring. I'm hoping to have a patch released by next Tuesday for this.

Progress continues!
The story is flowing more naturally in the hiking activity, at least for my liking. We are getting close to a release.
I did trim some things back, mainly because I feel like I've dragged this on long enough, and because perfect is the enemy of good.
I'll post some test images of Danielle tomorrow, these will eventually make their way into the game, along with a more lengthy explanation of what I trimmed and why.

Still crunching away, typing in the story and adjusting some coding. I've made a few amendments to the hiking dialogue, it flows a bit better in my opinion. Still not 100% happy, but half a loaf is better than none and all that.
In some spare minutes, just to scratch the creative itch, I've messed around with some story and renders for She-bulk.

It probably doesn't help I flip between "Progress log" and "Devlog". There is probably a real difference, but for me they are interchangeable.
ANYWAY:
- Progress is being made! The hiking scene is in the process of being coded in. (TBH I'm struggling a bit with the dialogue. It seems forced somehow? Re-writes may be in the near future to try and make it feel more natural between the characters.)

The idea from Brendan Johnson's comment got the creative juices flowing.
So I re-made She-Bulk in a before and after image. That really got my interested in the comic idea that was put forth. So, I stayed up late and putzed around. I think I have a viable story and assets for a She-Bulk comic!
This will be worked on in any extra time I can scrounge as I am still fully devoted to getting the game out ASAP. Having renders to toy with makes coding more fun.

Hello!
The full scene renders are finally finally almost done. I have two left, then the focus will shift to coding with a minor point on touching up some sprites.
(This rough picture is from a scene not in the current update, but will be implemented in the future. I have decided the fair and of course fair food, will be an upcoming activity. I also made it to test changing the image on the TV screens used here, previously I had not known how to do this.)

There was sale on Daz so I snagged some new things. This was going to be a one off, or maybe a comic. But looking at this, there is a definite possibility of it being the next new activity to do. I think it has potential!
