Late ass post in the day I APOLOGIZE was at the lab the past couple days & then gym today and I have been TIRED

wanted to post a WIP of the surprise spooky alt comm I’m working on but also NOT ruin the surprise element so enjoy this. Zoomed and filtered shot LMAO I’m roughing out my ideas rn before a clean pass but so far I’m loving how it’s looking :3

DESIGN FINALLY DONE

After MONTHS of being unsure of what I wanted & fussing I FINALLYYYY FINISHED my half of these duo designs!! NOW I CAN FINISH THIS REF but not tonight- back at the lab after the long stretch tomorrow so I need SLEEP

BASE TAILS DONE!

Final count is 26!! FINAL STRETCH NOW just need to do some extra fluffs & body features, then I can add a few accessories and finish the layout!! :3

Starting off today with more Posca lines on these two!! Gettin base coats in so I can go around and clean them up but I’m super excited to see em coming together :3

MOO-DY DAY (WIP)

Wouldn’t be me if I didn’t do a pun title now and again!! Overcast day today & I’m workin on assorted things- including getting this backlog reward lined & colored :3 ended up resketching it last night and it is QUITE different to the original but I just wasn’t vibing with how it looked… the giant head style isn’t always ENTIRELY universal I suppose!! BUT I LIKE THIS A LOT

Wanted to drop the progress for today- in addition to some body fluff & features, all 24 ear pairs for this are lined!! Going to take a break for now but then it’ll be tail lines :3

It’s certainly been an emotionally heavy day for everyone, and I got going late, so I decided to dedicate today to working on the restart of the bonus base I had sketched! Immediately this is feeling much better- condensing & simplifying has done a world of good for me in actually being able to progress on this and feel it’s usable (and actually looks good) so I’m excited to continue :3

I have all the ears and tails sketched out already, so those are to be lined next, as well ...

FIRST OF THREE VIDDYS FOR TODAY!! The original export was over 21 minutes long on this… SAFE TO SAY I CUT IT DOWN LMAO. Some of the chunks missing were just monotonous/hard to really see at the zoomed out size SO. NOTHING REALLY CRUCIAL GONE I just hope it’s not too fast to watch lmAO

HAIR BASICS TUTORIAL!

A tutorial for hair- specifically roots & shaping was requested this morning and I wanted to get it tackled first thing :3 so here’s the breakdown on how I plan out styles!! HOPEFULLY THIS COVERS A DECENT AMOUNT but OFC if additional parts to this are ever needed y’all are more than welcome to request more!!

Speedpaint format question!!

Paused editing to poll this cause I was NOT sure- I changed up the speedpaints a little bit ago from landscape formatting to portrait (since a lot of the stuff I’ve been speedpainting ARE portrait-orientation pieces) but I’m not sure if that’s actually better for viewing! Do you guys have a preference?

YCH PROGRESS! (WIP)

Worked on this until like 10:30 last night and totally forgot I meant to post the WIP this morning oml!! HUUUGE jump of progress on this one- worked on it all day yesterday and got all the fur done AND the shading colors done (which is huge because I was fiddling with those over and over for EVER) so now I just need to finish up the eyes & whatnot and the fleshy bits before I can get to the big drama lighting :3c EXCITING!!

Another finished commission off the queue!! It was SO so fun getting to do a bust piece after so long- and this OC is so so pretty uGHHH I love them sm!! They belong to highwayburial on twt :3

Also I’m pretty sure this was my first time actually RENDERING a locs hairstyle and man that was fun- working with the different shapes & texture was much less daunting than I expected and I definitely feel MUCH more confident in drawing em now!!

ANOTHER BADGE DONE!! This colourful guy belongs to floppy.doge- and what a PERFECT design for Posca honestly the vibrant pink & blue is my FAVE!! I had such a wonderful time workin on this I can’t wait to get this guy home :3c 🩵

LANEY LINE-Y (WIP)

Have a 4 hour shift coming up here for the evening so I mostly bounced around on things today (so my brain wouldn’t be too bothered by having to pack up and leave)

Pocky badge is DONE & currently drying to its backing paper so hopefully it is sunny enough tomorrow to take good photos!! Meanwhile I’ve started the substantial lining on Laney so that’s coming along :3

SHADOWS IN! (WIP)

Also did some Posca work today BUUUT the main focus was the shading layer of this bust comm!! Need to plan out the colors for the gradient mapping & I want to add some more blocked in shading for the hair because rn it’s all very textured but not 100% matching the lighting… SO that’ll be next!!

Completed the background on this last night after work which means another completed backlog reward!! This critter belongs to treepeanut and I’m SO enamoured- the ref is on my base so damn it’s about time I actually drew em :3c
