Had three YCH slots for some buddies that were claimed just before I left for surgery & I got em all sketched and off for approvals tonight!! :3

This YCH is still open if anyone was interested- I wanted to make a bump post for the form in the next couple days and then I think I might put it up publicly since it’s been a long while!! I’m a huge fan of the piece/file and I want to do more of them if I can for sure 🌱

Been wanting to draw this OC since I saw their ref and they were even MORE fun than I’d imagined :3 also tried some diff shading stuff & did a lot of rendering with my square painter which was super fun!! THIS GUY WAS SOOO FUN TO DESIGN THOUGH I am and forever will be a sucker for fall themed designs they are just. THE BEST!! And I love mixing vibrant colors with greys it’s always such an interesting mix!!

Had a filter on when I was making the original concept & I loved the alternate look SO I saved it for potential alt palette us...

Got this custom design ironed out, approved, and cleaned up today!! Ref just needs the finishing touches then I can call it good :3 gonna go and chill now tho- didn’t sleep the best so a LITTLE earlier bed before my shift tomorrow will do me good for sure!!

WILD WHISPER (CUSTOM COMM)

After 26.5 hours of work this skunk girl for radiorabbit is COMPLETE!! It was such a neat challenge to create a design off a show I’ve never watched- the theme was to die for tbh apocalyptic wild overgrowth nature energy is such a lovely visual & getting to go ham with the ivy was the PERFECT move for this one tbh!! Natural colour palettes in general are so so pleasing I couldn’t be happier with how she came out 💛🪱

One more project down on my queue is setting me up perfect...

Big jump on this one today and I absolutely love how it’s looking!! Pausing it for now while I get text info & whatnot and then I can start adding more little ripped paper spots for text and get the final touches on :3 absolutely LOVE how the ivy turned out it’s my favourite part- it needs some more bordering/contrast around the OC and accessories but once I get the words in I’ll work around that and make sure everything stands out!!

Big jump in progress for this guy over the past few days- got some more detail in & started up the base lines!! There’s still detail I want to add & highlights OFC but I want to get the main lines in before I lose any more of the base sketch in the layers (which would make lining SO much harder than necessary)

Pretty productive day today!! Did some (not pictured) Posca work on the badge comm, got a reward sketch cleaned up lined AND colored, and spent the evening doing some rendering on the custom ref to get that closer to finished :3 at the lab again for the first time in AGES tomorrow & Friday so I probably won’t be drawing much until Saturday? BUT WE’LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS
