Weekly Update

Still chipping away on Ch18. Not done yet, but I'm fairly happy with the progress I've made, especially today, since I managed to pretty much dedicate the whole day to just finding a quiet place and writing, which was nice.

A little worried it's gonna end up being a ridiculously long "Why didn't you split this into two?" chapter, but I think people are at least somewhat used to those kind'a chapters from me by now, hopefully it's not a turn off.

Heyo everyone! Happy 2020!

The good news is that I'm now back in action after the Christmas NY period, travelling around, doing family stuff, and winding up doing a lot more for NY and after than I expected.

The bad news is, with NY winding up being such a big deal, I haven't made any significant progress since my previous update. I've only had a short amount of time to write at all, let alone at my computer.

Probably not to anyone's great surprise, I haven't managed to finish in time for Christmas. Mostly because the few days I had dedicated, set aside for writing ended up being taken up by family. Fun overall, of course, but not very productive.

Not a lot to say this week, still slogging away, making progress as I can. I'm sticking to my claim that I'll be aiming to have this chapter up before Christmas/NY, but seeing as I've just found out that I'm apparently going to be hosting family from the 20th, I may need to amend that, as things play out. 

I'll update more as I know more.

I did manage to lose 300 orbs in FEH, only to find out that Echidna is apparently a 4/5* unit rather than just a 4* though, so that's... so...

Weekly Update

Just a relatively small update today, and kind'a late at night since it took a while transferring everything across to text/GoogleDocs.

Still a lot to do. It's a busy time of year with a lot of things delaying me (apparently work Christmas dinner tomorrow, which ends sometime around midnight, so doubtful I'll get anything done) but I'm still aiming to be done before Christmas.

Ch18 Story Outline is finished and will be uploaded for your perusal shortly. 

Goddamn it's huge though, I've written overly detailed notes, sometimes basically all but writing out a full scene, but still, it's clocking in at 10,000 words of notes. Considering I've seen 4-5k word outlines turn into 20k stories, I'm a little worried this one may end up being a bit unwieldy.

Especially since it's only got one sex-scene. That's a big chapter to just have one actual proper sex sc...

Actually not a very amazing one this time. I haven't quite finished the outline for the next ACoT Chapter yet (Say'ri's introduction).

It's actually been a little daunting going back to my old notes and structuring how this is going to work... and realising "Wow, this is BIG." Might end up having to trim it down a bit.

And the Third Chapter of my Stella Glow story is finally, finally fucking DONE. My Gods.

That story was somehow the biggest example of zero and negative progress I've ever suffered through. A few minor life issues getting in the way (particularly a brief trip to hospital about something very minor) didn't help, but mostly it was just about not being able to get it done.

Not much progress to report this week. Seems that every time I sat down to write, I either got distracted or something came up within a few paragraphs.

I'll have the completed outline for the latest chapter up soon, and then go from there, hoping to fix this and make good progress towards this weekend.

No exciting updates this week. I've mostly been tied up playing 3H after getting the DxD story up.

I'm going to be starting on a new chapter as of this week though. Although, I was reminded that I've still got one more commitment I need to fulfill before I dive back into ACoT, which is another chapter for the Stella Glow story, so I'll take care of that.

The setup is fun and the story doesn't seem too big, so I should be able to get it done relatively quickly.

A Price Paid Ch2

And, it's finally out! 

Definitely a massive chapter all things considered, I think it's actually the largest chapter I've written in almost a year, second only to some of my ACoT chapters. But, if you like DxD then I think you'll probably like it, hopefully. I think it's pretty decent at least!

Alright! The story is wrapped up and has been passed to the commissioner. Just need to take care of his final requests/changes/tweaks, and then I'll publish it online. So I should have that finished by tomorrow.

Been a long time coming this one, hopefully it's worth the wait! Google Docs are updated if anyone's feeling impatient.

Very close to finished, should be done tomorrow if I can't finish it tonight.

Pretty sick right now (it feels like I was sick not long ago too, so that sucks) which isn't making it easy, but pushing through to finally get this trying to push through.

Should hopefully be a fun chapter, I'm sure you guys'll enjoy it. Well, I hope you do, it's been a long time coming hasn't it? Haha.

I didn't manage to finish it off before 3H came out... And then I got sucked into 3H more than I was meaning to, and so I haven't finished it off yet...

It's very close to done though, which is heartening. I've updated the Google Docs, and there's a little more of the sex scene I haven't transcribed yet, but otherwise, almost done. Just need to finish off the sex scene and it's basically complete.

Not a very exciting update this time! I've gotten more done on the latest story (Google Drives updated) but there's still quite a bit left to do.

I like how it's coming together and I think the scene outlines should flow well, so hopefully I'll have more exciting news next week.

Bleh! Still not as much progress as I would have liked to be making. 

Part of it's that I've been tied up with work a little more than expected, although that at least has mostly worked out well for me (I'm getting paid more now!) and part of it's a matter of me not allocating enough time to sit down and properly get any writing done.

Apologies for the lack of substantive updates last week. It wound up being a far messier week than I was anticipating, I had much less time on my computer and a lot less free time in general- which meant I didn't wind up making very much progress the whole week. Frustrating!
