Weekly Update

Hi all,

A good week this time. I took a few days off after (finally) getting my Robin/Sumia story up, but now I've been back in action, working on the upcoming Robin/Morgan one, got the design fully worked out over the previous weekend and have been making progress with the initial stages of the draft. 

Still a lot to do, but I expect by the end of this week I'll be able to give you guys a full ETA on how long it should be, I'm aiming to be a lot faster with this, ideally by early n...

A Royal Affair

As most of you probably already guessed, when I said "A few hours tops" last time, what it turns out I meant was "About 8 hours of solid work."

One day, one day I will manage to successfully scope a project out. Or at least, let myself cut down on background details/explanations (do you guys even really care about all that stuff?)

Easter Progress Update

I've got literally just maybe a few paragraphs left, maybe a few hours work, tops.

But, I've been up pretty much the last few days and I've got work in a few hours. So, unfortunately I'm calling it quits for tonight.

I committed to having it done by Easter, I didn't manage that. But, it'll be done for sure, after I get home.

I'll do a proper update then and catch up on everything I've run behind on in this mad dash to finally get this damn thing finished! Haha.

Another update without incredibly exciting news again, I'm sorry, friends.

The story is progressing well, I'm getting through it, it's definitely gonna be quite a long one by the end of it, the longest I've done in quite some time (this is why I need to be a lot stricter about not letting ideas run away with me).

The good news is I've got it all pretty much written now, barring a few last scenes and revisions.

Not a hugely exciting week this week, I'm afraid. I wrote as much as I was able to pretty much from Monday - Thursday, but from Friday until about now, I've been travelling. Had fun, was a nice break, but even though I took my work with me, I didn't manage to get anything down...

Ahwell, big push this coming week and will hopefully get everything locked away. I desperately want to have it done before April, although that's looking tough.

Hi all,

So the good news is that I'm feeling a lot better. It really feels like you're getting older when you start taking longer recovering from simple illnesses, whatever I'd caught ended up knocking me around for about half a week in the end, but it seems to have cleared up.

The bad news, as you've probably noticed, is that, while I'm still working frantically on the coming chapter, it's still not done yet.

As mentioned last week, the goal for this week was to have the draft largely finished and ready for editing by now. Turns out I'd underestimated the size of it a little, that coupled with some re-writing I had to do over the initial few scenes dragged things down a little.

So, that's still in progress. Just means that the aim for this coming week will be the same, to have the draft finished by the end of it, get things going ASAP.

Pretty good week overall this time, I managed to get a decent chunk of the setup scenes for the Sumia story hashed out completely, which is a relief. 

I haven't made as much progress as I'd like just yet (that is, no sex scenes so far...) but it is coming along without any roadblocks, I'm aiming to have the first draft largely complete by the end of this coming week, with then a few days or a week at most after that to edit/publish it.

Honestly, I'm not sure what to say. I promised myself I'd use this weekend to ensure I got the latest story out and finally published, but with work looming in a few hours, I've finally given up on that, time for bed.

Man, what a fucking weekend. 

Something's been messing with my ISP for almost the entire weekend, which is where I get both my phone (4g) and broadband internet from, which means I've barely been able to get online at all.

Finally seems fixed now, thank God. So I can get access to everything I've got stored online.

Need'a finish writing some stuff, edit a little and then (mostly) just collate things together. Going to bed now, but expect something soon. Again.

Almost finished with the latest chapter, it's (as expected) grown out a bit larger than I planned for, something that I doubt will be a surprise to anyone by now, but it's also looking pretty fun.

Lost quite a bit of work time to watching AGDQ this week, whoops! Some great runs though, I'd reccomend the Sunshine or Shovelknight races and if you wanna cringe, the Dark Souls 3 run, poor bastard.

Absolutely exhausted from getting my latest chapter done, I pretty much slept all day today. It's a relief for sure, but definitely not how I'd been planning to spend New Years day haha.

Frustrating update this time friends! 

I told myself, I promised myself I would get this chapter uploaded before Christmas. I swore I'd get it done. 

I skipped work drinks yesterday to work on it. 

I quit out early today to work on it all afternoon. 

I stayed up all night (so far) to finish it off.

Just a small update this week, since I've got a lot to do and not anywhere near enough time to do it.

The chapter is pretty much complete at this point, just needs a little polishing and some editing. I wanted it out weeks ago, but it's going to be out soon, so that'll be a relief at least. 

The challenge, of course, will be getting it all locked away before Christmas... Somewhat tempted to see if I can budge a day off work...

So, another busy week and luckily this one was one I made a lot of progress on.

However, I owe you all something of an apology, since the story (obviously) isn't out yet. 

I don't think the reasoning is going to surprise anyone, a lot of the scenes I was originally intending to be smaller have grown a lot more and are now going far more into depth. I'm trying to trim where I can, but a lot if it is pretty damn good stuff (or, at least, I think so).

First off, sorry for posting this a day later than usual, but man, it's really that time of year again already huh? Where everything's coming at once, both personal and professional, till you're stuck looking for any free time at all!

Monday, I got a decent amount of writing done but got called away by family, which took up most of the night.

Tuesday I had an offsite team meeting, so nothing got done.

Wed I was out of office all day on a work event, so again, nothing got done.

Here's something I've been looking forward to for a long while now! It was meant to be the first commission done based off the monthly polls, but it took a little while to come out. There's two versons done, with and without the insets, and I think the quality speaks for itself here.
