If you are too young or didn't know about it, in the old console wars not only Nintendo and Sega were battling, NEC and Hudson Soft had a pretty cool system called TurboGrafx-16 (PC Engine in Japan). They had their own mascot too, the caveman kid called Bonk but when Bonk didn't had the 'Tude needed to compete with Sonic (lol) they made a game with a more edgy and futuristic version of Bonk called Zonk and here he is!
... Or Air Zonk as it was called here in america.
Well, checking some of your suggestions in the last post here are some I thought are the most interesting. Please vote and don't be affraid to leave a commment, maybe suggesting a cute character for the winning option.

Yes, if you didn't know, the Sega Genesis has a lot of games in developement by awesome homebrew groups and indie creators. There are some games that have been already released, like Tanzer, Tanglewood, Coffee Crisis, Papi Commando, Pier Solar and many more. And some to come like Xeno Crisis, Paprium and others that don't have a name yet.
