I don’t often get inspired like this but the moment I saw Desire…. Wow, I ran. What’s not to love really. I’m planning a few more characters of the show The Sandman because you all already know I’m a whore Neil Gaiman and his work.

Our trip to Montreal

All content I desperately wanted to share with you before but I received way later than expected! I got the chance to do an entire shoot with my long time online friends. It was a roller coaster but I’m glad we did it anyway. It was giving Charlie’s Angels or Totally Spies and I was living for it.

We had so much fun doing this little homey photoshoot. Apparently I’m a natural a recreating pentagrams with salt. Obviously this shoot is heavily inspired by one of our favourite memes, though I’m still missing a grimoire… I’ll save it for next time once I make mine from scratch 😤

Obsessed. I am OBSESSED. There’s no other words for how happy I am with how this turned out. My new camera is making photoshoots at night so much easier so I get to play with lighting at lot more! My friend Art came out with the Clawdeen and when I tell you I RAN to the store to gather the materials for this. I’d love to make a more polished version of her some time! She used to be my favourite character in Monster High 😩 I forgot how fun these designs are!

Just me crying over my uterus

I wish I could explain how traumatizing these last few days have been. To go from having pride plans and excitement over all the cosplays I had prepared to simply being frozen in fear because of what’s happening in the US. Screaming, crying, throwing up doesn’t even cover it. I have been so worried for my friends and the people I care for who live there and about the future implications. I feel so very small and powerless and the worst is that I have to keep creating to keep myself sane. ...

Let’s imagine she just got her legs for the day alright… maybe one day I’ll invest in a mermaid tail. I had so much fun with this shoot. Those damn pearls took forever to stick on and the seashells were holding on to dear life. It was all worth it in the end, I am obsessed with this.

Our last Mermay day

The best way that I could describe this month is that it felt like a year.

I have been silent this entire time because I couldn’t begin to explain how crazy our life got. We spent the first week moving out things to an abandoned house where we had to live for two weeks. No cell service or internet unless I drove 30 minutes to do my groceries. Two weeks of madness waiting until we could finally moving into our new real home. For most of the new year now, I have been dealing with some serious health problems that have stopped me from doing many of the things I loved. It has been truly heartbreaking to see my efforts failed and knowing that I was not getting any better for weeks. Fortunately, I managed to get an appointment with the doctor! However, I will not be healing properly unless I take the time to do so.

One Catra for you, One for me

I really wanted to have a serious photoshoot but we couldn’t stop laughing during this whole process. The crowns hitting each other, the height difference, our ridiculously long nails that neither were use to! THE WIGS. It was simply a joy to spend the day with my friend, we both dearly missed cosplaying together and this was a delight evening. Almost like a convention at home, but with waaayyyy better food.

Thorn - Hex Girls

I can’t believe I managed to pull this cosplay together in the middle of the move. The entire outfit was made from scratch and whatever I could find in the mess that are my boxes. I miss wearing fangs, they make me feel so freaking cute.
