Hello everyone! A ton of bodykits this update with a touge map update at the end.

The Greddy AC987 will be it's own car, as it will share the interior will the regular RX-7.

The R34 GTT will also be it's car with it's own bodykit kits. It will have a slightly different interior.

Development Update #7

Hello everyone, big update this time; Mt. Haruna progress, 2 new cars, 1 remodel and many bodykits.

Progress has been steady, Mt. Haruna map has fully setup UVs but no textures yet those will come later.

The Gemballa Avalanche will be it's own car, but I've counted it as a bodykit in this update as it will likely share the interior with the stock 964.

Development Update #6

Hi! MT. Haruna map update, lots of cool bodykits, 1 new car and some nice re-models. Well done to all who guessed the touge track (even through it was pretty easy)!

Progress has been good on the new map, but I'm still in the process of having to create all the assets needed for this map, so progress isn't as fast currently as it will be when that stage is finished.

The bodykit on the Scoot RX-7 will feature a version without wheel cover.

Hello! Lots of cool parts and some finished cars from last update. Work has started on the touge map! Do you know what road it is?

 Very early still but touge map updates will be included in these update posts from now on.

Playable AI cars/"beta" cars are available in the Prologue on itch.io! Make a back up your savefiles before playing just incase.

Development Update #4

Hello! 3 new cars in this update; Mazda FC RX-7, Toyota AE86 Trueno (W.I.P) and Honda NSX NA1 (W.I.P).

As you can tell by the R34 GTR remodel, all existing Prologue cars will also get remade to a higher standard with more detail.

Making the "beta" cars playable is about to enter private testing, all the UIs are finished and look a lot better than the current prologue S13 UI.

This month(July) will have touge map development updates as that becomes the main focus.

Development Update #3

Hello, here are some screenshots of the FD RX7, NSX NA2 and some earlier progress shots of a new(-ish) car. As you can see from the screenshots, all new car models are more detailed than the current models, they will look a lot nicer in-game!

Development Update #2

Hi, here are some progress shots of new bodykits and a new car! Some new cars are still too early to show but have been commissioned, you'll see some of them next update.

Making the "beta" cars playable is still coming but will be a bit later than expected, same goes for engine swaps. Reason is that a lot the focus has been put on commissioning cars and bodykits as this is a good time of year to do this. (Artists have more free time for commissions during summer break).

Hi, here are some progress shots of new bodykits, these have all been from the last 2 weeks or so. A handful of completely new cars also being worked on but are too early to show yet, they should be ready to show before the end of the month. 8 new styles of rims have also been completed in the last few weeks.

IMPORTANT:  changed savefile location folder to "PLANET JEM SOFTWARE"

Your old savefile is still in the old location folder("PLANET JEM GAMES"), you can copy/paste it into the new folder(delete any files in the new folder before!) and it'll transfer perfectly fine.

Livery showcase + small dev update

Currently 2 Months into testing/bug fixing the demo/prologue, it's a ton of work but it's going well!

The Steam page for the prologue will be live next month. Patreon access will be next month, public (free) access will be around New Years Eve/Day, I will post the date when it's locked in.

I will post the prologue on patreon first and I won't announce it for a few days. So if you're already subscribed then you'll get it a few days before other new Patreon members :)

BTS Update #13 - Unknown map locations + Launch Control

Straight Cut Gears Upgrade Video + Extra Info

New video showing the straight cut gear sound effects, hope you think it's cool. Here's some extra info;

There's 4 different gearboxes to choose from; 

- Stock: neutral gearing bias, no adjustments. (~50% short/long)

- Street: manually adjustable gear bias to 80% of the gear bias range, no straight cut sound.(MIN: 20%, MAX: 80%)

BTS Update #12 - First 10 minutes of Demo/Prologue

Here's the first 10 minutes, uncut, unedited (except loading screens). This is the only time this much talking happens, and it's to introduce the characters.

- In the car auction, I was looking for a car with a black/grey interior, which is why I passed on the beige interior car. Interior colors in used cars are random and cannot be changed.

Drift Upgrades Video + Extra info

New video showing some drifting and drifting upgrades. Some of which you guys on here have already seen (handbrake types video).

- When you equip an aftermarket handbrake, you get a small additional brake caliper on your rear wheels to reflect the upgrade.

- Unrelated to drifting, but I re-worked a lot of the road/wall textures to make them more realistic and more grungy. Makes a big difference compared to the old vids.

So, this update includes a first look inside the PAs/Meets;

You walk around and phone up other racers to start negotiating a bet. Different racers have different negotiating traits; some will be more willing to accept your offers, others will outright refuse and get insulted. Racers will comment on your transmission type, your win streak, your losing streak, your car value, your car's engine condition ect.

BTS Update #11 - Full UI map and new area

This is the full demo map. It includes a stretch of road that's accurate to real life, then some new original roads around it.

In the UI map you get to see how the 'story' progression of the game works; Your goal is to control the map with your crew. You do this by taking over Parking Areas, toll booth speed traps(ETC) and Time Trials (Drift zones will be in non-highway maps).
