These were also "sketch-less" paintings, the first three being 4-minute practices.
I start them by painting the full silhouette and then adding the face structure and details. I'm happy with the character profile designs this helped me come up with!

I've been practicing "sketch-less" paintings, where I paint characters directly on one single layer and with free brushstrokes.
