Xiaoyu mood continues! I wanted to practice expressions and figured there's no better candidate than this cutie. Going pretty fast with this one, only got the ending to figure out, some polish and finishing touches for the environment.
It is gonna be a bit shorter than usual though - around 50 seconds. All my try-harding lately has been a bit exhausting, so I'll try to take it easy and focus on ideas that are more fun to work on (as opposed to ambitious) this month.

As it usually goes, I've got good news and bad news. Let's start with the bad: I didn't like my original "script" so much that I had to scrap 30 seconds of animation after fighting with it for a week. The good news is that I'm back on track now and Jun/Asuka is still happening!
Here's an animated preview to make up for the wait. This is about 35% of what I have in mind and still heavily unpolished, but you get the idea.

I've started working on the poll winner, but, due to personal events this week, haven't made much progress beyond the posing and experimenting with the intro yet. Most of my Blender time was spent on polishing the Kunimitsu anim and a separate quick project that will be released within a few days.

I have finally completely lost it and spent the last 5 days on learning sewing. In Marvelous Designer, that is. It's the industry standard for creating 3D clothing AND then simulating it. And surprisingly, I've had a good time with it so far!
I generally prefer working with clothing, as it can add to any vibe or aesthetic you're going for, but it is both a pain in the ass to animate by hand and... I often just don't have anything appropriate on hand. It's tough to put cool clothes on cu...

Xiaoyu is coming along well! I'm around 80% done with the animation itself, just need to do climax and polish. The first part, intro, is about 17 seconds long, and the 2nd part is shaping up to run for a minute or so. My main goal for this one was to push speed as far as I can, without the action looking unnatural. I haven't cracked Spizzy's secrets yet (his Ayane anim is my inspiration in that regard), but there is progress!

Here's a teaser for my next personal anim - finally featuring Xiaoyu! She's way too cute in-game, hopefully I'll be able to capture that in animation too.
Besides that, one of my current long-term goals is doing more SFW animations: that means more intros (the last Sayuri anim comes to mind) and occasional softcore stuff, like poledancing, in the future. There's a lot I learn from them and they're just plain fun to work on as well.

Celadora and I weren't satisfied without climax, so we're extending our collab a bit! The first 50 seconds are mostly finished, we just need to polish things and figure out what to do with the dreaded ponytails, and we just started on the 2nd part. I like Kunimitsu, so I'm glad to have an excuse to keep animating her. :3

Here's a WIP of another project and an announcement: I'm collabing with the one and only Celadora! The name should be familiar if you're into Tekken smut (and memes, as it turns out). First time working alongside another animator and it's actually been pretty good! We're aiming to finish it in the first weeks of next year, so stay tuned for updates~
