Theoretically finished the sleeping dragon watercolour. I say theoretically but I feel like something is missing, like that the colour balance is off and that I need to do something else.
At the same time, I'm afraid of overworking it and turning it into a hot mess.
Either way it was a great learning excercise, since as much as I liked the look of traditional watercolour, I was never very good at it. Any practice is good practice, right?

The watercolour pencils and white gel came today, so I was able to finish this piece finally!
I think I really enjoy the watercolour pencils. I've always loved how watercolour looks, but using them was always kind of a ... well, messy pain in the ass. These are much easier to control.

The supplies I was waiting for finally arrived, so I could finish the things I've had on the backburner!
This comic was supposed to have dialogue balloons but I think the... story of it is clear enough without words.
This was good practice work for getting back into blending marker colours. Chara's hair for example is a mix of two different shades because I didn't actually have a colour that matched.

Bought a watercolour pad so I could use the watercolour pencils more effectively, but they didn't arrive in the mail today. Hopefully tomorrow? I have several pieces that I want to finish that are being held up by things not being here yet.
In the meanwhile a WIP of a piece I've done on watercolour paper. Considering doing a marker/watercolour pencil combination. The piece is pretty big and it would take a lot of marker though, so I'm unsure.

The inks for a larger piece I'm working on. I wanted to scan this before I started to colour it (and you know, potentially ruin it). The plan is to colour the flats with marker and then use watercolour pencils for the shading. If it works out the way I expect it to, it should look pretty cool. I'm thinking of putting a background too... with Phage/the Digital Dimension.
Sally is supposed to have one of her blades extended, but that'll be done in colour.
