Drawing a Goblin

Seriously... I just wanted to draw a Goblin!  In my story, Goblins are the "Male" version of Elves such as the Motals are "Male" versions of Terrians.  Unlike Mortals who are noble and pledge themselves to protect the Terrians, the Goblins are animal savage creatures. Their ability to use low magic makes them as dangerous as a gorilla with a shot gun!

They love nothing more then capturing Terrians for sport.

A poor artist blames the tools...

I think its my tools' fault!  I noticed how slow my equipment is getting.  My Mac is from 2012 and my tablet is from 2011!  Having aged equipment is really making is tough to do the pencils as the cursor lags and the computer has trouble doing the complex calculations for a pencil stroke...  I notice how tedious it is to draw compared to on my iPad which is nice and snappy.

SO... I'm taking my Patreon money and reinvesting it back into new equipment.  I'll be ab...

Sylvie - The White Witch

So here is the first one drawn and the last one written.  I like her outfit but sort of a total rip off of Princess Leia.  Not a bad thing I guess.  The metal bikini was so hot.

I just wrote these as a stream of consciousness so maybe something will come of this.

Kylanth - Wood Elf

Next up is the Wood elf.  Her boobs are MASSIVE compared to how she will eventually be drawn but this one is for we who like smaller more perky tits.

I imagined Kylanth almost like a supernatural spirit so things like the physical body and the lusts of men are really not too much concern.  Being an eternal creature no injury is ever fatall, no pain a deterrent nor any experience traumatic.  Nothing an elf experiences carries from one moment to the next.  Only mortals...

The Priestess: Sarai Ben Yousof's backstory.

She is actually one of my favourites of the three so I wanted to fictionalize her backstory first.  I love her long hair, her dress and her implied attitude here.  For those who wanted big boobs, this one is for you!  (I specifically have three different boob sizes for the girls given wide disagreement in a previous poll).

I'm 80% happy with this story as it is full of virtue and tragedy and redemption and kind of shapes her attitude and relationship with the Protectorate...

Wandering Creative Flow...

Hi everyone.  As I continue to wander my creativity to find a literary muse I wrote part one of the backstory of a fantasy world.  Actually, the secret [spoiler] is that this world is actually OUR world but because the assumption is that through time and errors in recorded history our present day understanding of what happened in pre-history is somewhat distorted.

So I thought I would try out doing some free form drawings today.  No plans... just wherever the tide takes me.  It may turn into a comic or it may not but it was a joyful break from drawing comics this weekend (which has been burning me out lately).

Hey everyone!  Sorry I haven’t posted in a bit.  I’m a little burnt out from everything going on and although I was in a very optimistic mood when the pandemic hit, the current events have gotten me quite blue.  I think I’ve been doing Little Lorna comics for a long streak and maybe would like to shift to another comic and come back to Little Lorna with some fresh ideas!

We made it through another month and things sort of seem to be settling into a new groove.  I think I posted 6 comic pages last month as well as a bunch of drawing and hopefully I can keep it up this month as I know I was getting a little burnt out in the last few weeks of the month.

Upcoming comic!

Well, its been a really busy month with comics.  I think comics usually take around 2 months to make and Woman's Work Part One was done in half the time!  Its a pace I'd like to keep up but to be honest, it is probably mostly because I'm sheltering in place and business has slowed down quite a bit.  I hope everyone is taking the opportunity to enjoy this!

I gotta kind of fast track this as this problem of the characters is totally holding up the comic.  I figured this is a pretty good looking power trio.

Alright.  I kind of settled on that this is what the antagonist will look like.  I disturbingly was researching powerful men who are a little creepy and came up with this guy which seems to be a hybrid of all of them.  They all are physically BIG guys with tiny eyes that are deep and close set.  They dress in power suits and great hair.

Now I need a name for him!  His last name will be the name of the talent agency that he owns so I was thinking "Starr" but that...

Little Lorna's Height...

I always have trouble drawing Little Lorna's height.  Being Asian, 4' 8" is not uncommon for my friends and the "Little" in Lorna is supposed to refer that she is a short.  I think short girls are cute!  Same with boobs.  I'm not used to big boobs.  A or B cup is typical for asians.

5' 2" seems to be a normal height for "short" white girls however to me it seems too tall to be considered "short".  Most asian girls are 5' 2" (I'm a GIANT at 5'6").
