Catching up on the past fem cg still, I decide to flip their positions and change the script a little since my editor gave me the one of the edited script today ^ ^


Physically, I'm not in my best, don't know if I caught the stomach flu or what but I've been pretty feverish and sick the past 2 days so I'm gonna slow down a bit.

Catching Up

Catching up on the FeMC CG for the dance festival, and decided to reuse the hair that I made in Cupid since this pose and scene was an exact copy from that VN I made. Though I will never continue Cupid, I did just get home from talking with an artist I worked with back then and I plan to commission her again about making outfits for the next game I'm planning. I have a lot of plans for 2024, mostly of course getting Bewitching Sinners done and DLC chances.

Dancing in the Black Outs

For the past week, there's a string of blackouts happening in my neighborhood and it's annoying me because I keep losing my art progress from the blackouts, but somehow I managed to save these two. 

Hopefully tomorrow the blackouts will finally stop and I can finally draw normally again without losing progress!

Latest beta for Bewitching Sinners!

This beta was draining but for all the wrong reasons, because this beta was not a story update and more mechanics, it was really down to meticulous work and very number-oriented things. Things that turned out to be quite a hindrance since the dating mechanic would look wonky if I get even just a 1 point difference, so... yeah. My eyeballs and low attention span were just not vibing

Seth endings are probably the more brutal and sad of the bunch but I love how theatrical they are and they push my anatomy skills. If I ever get the chance to make the Witch Dateable DLC, I'm definitely gonna enjoy explaining Seth --  especially since his current arc is so covered due to the plot structure and buildup. If I didn't have the restraints of the current plot, I would definitely explain his background more

The Kiss of Truth

This kiss is very optional but quite critical in it's consequences. It's not exactly a very touching scene in the game and I wanted that to be reflected in the CG

Fun fact, the pureblood witches' demise and 'texture' were based on the Dark Shadow's witch death in which they crumbled into stone. In the beta, I've described Seth's and Ivar's deaths as either melting or turning into flowers to hint that their death is different from the other witches so far.

There's a famous reddit post about the guy who was in a coma and dreamt up an entire life with his picture-perfect family.  My question to you guys is... if you know your happiness was all just a dream or make-believe, will it make you any less happy?

This Made Me Snap

This CG honestly made me almost want to scream, I nearly gave up, like genuinely wanted to cry and it's not even a mandatory CG, technically.  I drew it because I noticed that Thane and Arshem had a higher CG count so I had to level out Lyall's and Quill's to make things fair.

I was on the fence of just scrapping it, but I was 50% done when I had my almost breakdown, so I also felt like I had to finish it.

Still trying to draw at least 1 CG a day.  Also I almost put the gems too close to the nip areas, which made me chuckle ngl. But due to the severity of the situation, I decided against it haha!

All The Feathers

If you've played the latest beta, you might now understand why people mistook Irwin for Seth. Also, I nearly had a heart attack as my toddler nephew came in and shut down my computer and I almost lost this file, or at least a good amount of progress on it. Thankfully I managed to save it somehow!

The reason you may (or may not) want to avoid Meyza's ending. I had a lot of fun making their outfits though, based on one runway look and a Chicago musical look

The used ones are the bloodied version because Thane was bleeding at the time, but I wanted to show the clean version too!

Family Reunion + Hands!

A very bittersweet mother and son reunion for Thane. Also, there's a lot of hands in the last arc CG, hands, and gems which I plan to animate slightly,-- nothing too flashy just a spin or minor floating effect. Ivar 's and Seth's are more alive compared to Io's and Meyza's, for beta testers, you know why, for not, well you just have to wait and see later ^ ^

Don't Cry, Don't Be Shy

Not gonna lie, I didn't think that Ivar crying CG would work out, coloring-wise.  However, I trusted the process, and damn, so pretty! I never really learned lighting or drawing in a formal setting so I'm always surprised when I pull off what I want to do, I'm sure it's still flawed but either way, I like it for now and that's all that matters!

My plans for the end of January is release another beta that has the dating system fully playable and have it tested.

February, my editor should be done with the scripts while I crunch all the CGS

Beta Script Updates

Bug Fixes for Major errors and date trigger errors for Thane's route and Single (no companion route). Also enables the Cat Quest to unlock regardless if you decided to meet Merry on the first weekend or not, fishing is enabled on the weekend as well.

For non mac users, Just copy paste the scripts and replace the current scripts in the game folder. If any errors such "defined twice appear" happens at startup, simply delete the .rpyc files and restart. if error persist, close the game, o...

BETAAAAAAAAAAAAA 1.3

I finally finished this month's beta! This beta is playable to the end game, with all quests and recipes implemented but you might not unlock all of those quests and recipes in one play-through as they are event-locked for some (For example, if you crushed Lyall's flower, you open up 2 more quests, but if you don't you can unlock some recipes instead)

All the pain (SPOILERS)

Good thing is, I managed to code all the story scripts by today. That includes all the love routes.  Bad news, there are some annoying bugs so I have to fix those major ones before uploading the beta like usual, but I should get those done by the 20th, by the latest -- probably earlier but I don't want to overestimate myself as I have a cold. Meanwhile,  here are the sketches for the upcoming final fight. It's a lot but it's gonna be a lot of fun~

Lyall Route Preview

At my day job, I'm currently handling 5 BL webtoon scripts and it really shows. Yes, I coded Lyall in the game as buff, because it stuck to me.

I also code Arshem as Tom, because he was basically based of Harry Potter/Tom Riddle fanfics (which somehow became into a very soft character, so good thing there.) 

Thane is red because hair, and Quill ans quil because white is also too long and couldn't think of anything shorter.

Lyall Arc Finished!

I struggled so much to finish his route, but I finally did it, and so I can finally progress to code all the scripts in. Whooo!

I wanted to just sketch this but I ended up finishing it while listening to All That Jazz - Chicago. Probably gonna put that song on as I draw my skin on skin CG from now on.
