Did you bond with him? Thane's Ending only triggers if you bond with him so you can't cure him via potion or have him bond with Fia. You have to complete Find the Culprit Quest to trigger this prompt, after Fia is bit, Thane will try to visit her and apologize on the 31st, choose to accompany Thane to avoid him bonding with Fia. So long as you do this, Thane will later ask to bond with you on the 6/6, when you got Io's gem. As for some options opening up or not, that depends on ur stats (kindness needs to be at 50) for honesty and kindness, those stats really depend on previous choices and Quests done. But no major CG or choice is blocked by those stats just more minor story info and some chara reactions in dialog automatically will be a certain way, depending on your char stats. if you mean you want to see Thane's ending after you guys spent some time in MC world, you need to tell Ivar you want the truth in his dream and later trigger either Ivar's or Seth's ending as MC ending wont show you the boys life in your world after they have adjusted

Buuuuuut, have to admit, I am REALLY struggling with getting Thane's Happy Ending. Some of the options don't open up no matter what I do (such as hugging him after the fish blood incident). Any advice possible? :D
