I've been busy in the garden, planting more seeds and transplanting some starts that I either grew or picked up from a local organic farm. I can't believe how much the garden and land has changed in just a few weeks time! I love this time of year. It's starting to warm up and seems to be staying warm, so I'm thinking about transplanting my peppers soon. Tomatoes are already in the ground! Hope you enjoy the update. I'm back from Hawaii!!! I have so much to share with you about my trip, some of which I get into here, but I'm working on a video for YouTube that I'll share on Sunday, so watch for that too. It was an incredible time, and some unusual things did happen. Such is the way when you're on a magical island in tropical Hawaii ;) When I got back, my ginger sprouted!!! We had freezing temps for two weeks (single digits!!) and now it feels like Spring (mid 50s F). I took advantage of the warmer days and got into the greenhouse to plant my ginger starts. I ran out of clean trays and had to race inside to clean a few more. It was drizzling out! Very rainy here. Got this video to you a little sooner. Hope you enjoy!

Making up for the last one! Hope this is better :) The temperature was beautiful, 50 degrees F and sunny. I loved feeling the warmth of every sun ray, and it made the cool air not feel so cold. I was planting garlic during the dark phase of the moon, when it was in the fertile sign of Cancer.

I'm back at it again! Home from Japan and getting right to work in the garden. Fall is settling in, and it's getting VERY cold outside (25 degrees F). I'm trying to stay warm, enjoy the sun when I have it, and finishing up the garden as I prepare it for winter. In this video, I share some more about my trip to Japan - which was incredible!
