Originally written from a friend's story.

Premise: Shaun's life takes an unusual turn when he finds out he's 1/10 monster and gets free admission to a prestigious monster only university. Being the only "human" makes him the center of attention as he stumbles into relationship after relationship with beasts, cryptids and creatures of myth.

His new life kicks off when he gets a house visit from a lovesick entity claiming to be his new boyfriend, who's there to help him enroll.

Gonna get back to work on the Studview mod this month but keep in mind that the work is a lot more intensive with the new sprites, so I can't guarantee I'll have a bachelor finished by the end of July. I'll still see about posting the WIP mod for those who still want it.

April Update

Going to have to cancel the Stardew goal for this month sadly. I don't think it's feasible to get Shane done in time as the new resolution for the sprites takes way more time to render out. Commissions have also taken a lot of my time this month too. Hopefully by next month, I'll have a better chance to work on it.

Besides that, I have two art goals for April and I'm also going to consider posting commission work here too. o/

Stardew Rework In Progress

Goal of this month will be to try to get Shane reworked into this new enlarged version (hopefully). The creator to the Sprites in Detail mod has reached out to help provide some information on how to make the new proportions work, which have been a success! A few notes worth considering:

• I haven't quite figured out how to get Content Patcher working into the mod which means the additional dialogue and custom outfits aren't on the table at the moment.

Studview Valley - The Embiggening

I was tipped off to a mod called "Sprites in Detail" which apparently quadruples the resolution of sprites and allows for more room. I initially created the sprite on the right going into this thinking he would fit, but as it turns out the mod only doubles the sizes and that the intention was to make higher quality sprites, so I reworked him into the middle, which actually matches the mod's proportions. It's not ideal, but at least we'll get bigger bachelors.

Stardew Review

Next month, I'm going to be reconsidering the sprite work for the Stardew Valley mod after being tipped off about a mod that allows for enlarged sprites. If this works, we can actually have Shane and Elliott be large and not constrained to the standard proportions of the sprite sheets.
