It's been a while since I tried drawing these two. I thought it would be nice to bring them back for Pride month :)
I'm hard at work on the upcoming chapter of Eros & Psyche, will post progress shots as I get through it. This one will be about 20 pages!
I'm so excited to introduce this character you all have no idea. I had wanted to introduce Hakara's "friends" during the ball scene in the previous version of the comic but I was already overwhelmed with the scene so decided to save them for later BUT NOW!!! Now this lovely lady and her consort will get their screen time >:D

I expect they're going to have editing notes for the dialogue but they should be able to handle those sorts of fixes from their end. I'll let you all know when to expect the crowdfund campaign as soon as I'm officially put on the waiting list!
It's the next day and Jintu is totally not hoping to get interrupted from his work again. It would be so inconvenient if Kizarasunga dragged him off or something.

Hello, all! I want to thank everyone for their patience while I wrapped up my color updates. You can now read all the new and improved pages on TQ's website! Currently I am working on a silly little bonus comic for the book that will be available to all patrons as well as a 5 page continuation of the Late Night comic for the $10 tier. I hope to have them both done in about a week? After that I basically just need to do a grammar run and arrange the book pages and I can hand them off to Hivewo...

For shits and giggles here's the original, the redraw, and the final colors.
For anyone wondering the first 60 or so pages have already gotten the color update. I wasn't kidding when I said it wouldn't take too long.
WHEW. Ok. Redraws are done!!! I still need to make minor edits like updating colors and fixing a face here and there but oh my god I literally redrew 64 pages and it took me a few seasons. I am so grateful for everyone's patience. The good news is that I will not be redrawing pages in the next volume.

I wanted to highlight the new color adjustments so here we go!
First of all, doesn't it look like turning on high definition you didn't know was turned off?
Printing makes your colors darker than they appear on a screen, so it's important to give it a good amount of contrast. I also thought back to some people who thought my golds were meant to be browns and my whites were meant to be grays and guys I'm so sorry, I'm so bad at picking colors. I hope the new changes clarify thing...
You may notice everything looks shinier and uh... yeah I'm adjusting the palette.
But Alli, won't that make it take longer to get your book ready? No not really, I keep my layers pretty well organized so adjusting colors and adding a little shading doesn't really take that long. It's nothing compared to fixing layouts. Which I'm almost done with, by the way! Just 12 more to go and my goal is to get them all done during April! WISH ME LUCK

Forgive me if I'm a little light on the sweets this month. I'm getting close to the finish line with fixing old pages and I'm entering a crunch phase where it's hard to focus on anything else.

Another formal look for Jintu! A lot of these are really similar since I have a fair idea of how I want him to dress for the occasion and he'll likely end up with some sort of amalgamation. Kizarasunga's outfit is pretty much figured out but I want the final look to be a surprise >:D
The $10 tier is indeed getting a comic on Valentines Day, I was able to finish it in time! Now I'm back to work on updating old pages.

This is the dress Tashti desperately wants Kizarasunga to wear to the ball (the black portions are even Kizarasunga's own clothes) but her bruising would be too noticeable and bandages would be obvious. But at least someone gets to see it!
He's going to get the most outfit options out of anyone because he is a very fancy boy. I have so many sketches to clean up.
