Devlog 0.9

Wassup gamers.

Development of 0.9 is going well, the Bath Invasion event got dramatically expanded. It was only supposed to be 1 scene, now it's 6 events with a branching choice that encourages a different playstyle in the mini-game.

A realistic timeline for the release of 0.9 is probably somewhere around mid to late July. I know it's a long time coming, but there’s more stuff in this update than the usual one.

Yo.

I should make a post at least once a month, so here I am!

0.8 still in development, exciting stuff!

I changed her outfit a bit, as you can see, making changes in materials so they won't clash as much with the medieval tone of the game while keeping the vibe I was going for.

Small Devlog + Sneak Peek

A new activity is coming in Corruption Town for the 0.8 update. Way smaller scope for this one, but I think it'll be a nice distraction from the constant grinding at the inn. This come with a new outfit for Agnes, tell me what you think of it (This outfit is still subject to modifications).

I'll release a "small" update in a few weeks or so to add some of the interactivity missing from the drunk defeat scenes. (Clicking "Endure" is not that fun, I know)

0.7 & Steam Release Date

This is it, boys! Corruption Town is set to be released in early access on Steam on November 1st, along with the 0.7 update.

$10 subscribers are going to get access to the game in the same manner as usual.

The initial release date was set for mid-October, but since I decided to release this update on Steam, I'm taking a bit more time to adjust the game to make sure it works well there. I'll share the changelog a few days before the release.

0.4 Plan

Hello,

So... 0.3 was pretty buggy :o). That was honestly quite a surprise for me. I was pretty confident that the build was solid. I play the game a lot to test everything I add. I don't upload a new build until every major bugs I encountered are fixed. But once the public version was released and thousands of people played the game, I discovered that my coding was indeed quite flawed. I'll try to do better next time; that's all I can say :).
