What To Expect in September 2019

Hey guys, I'm going to be very brief here, because I'm not feeling so good (to the point I might need to go to the hospital if things don't improve; been feeling short of breath and lightheaded all day. X_X )

Anyways, as usual, September will be our Touch-Up month, and we will work on Chapter 2 Pages 26 and 27, the Chapter 3 Cover, and C3 Page 1.

We just posted C5P19 not too long ago, if you haven't checked it out yet, so we fulfilled our quota for the month, as we promised!

Someone pointed out that Lydia was missing her jacket on pages 16 and 12, so those have been fixed! Thank you to everyone that has pointed out that little hiccup! :P

Originally, I wrote that it was going to be just one panel of Lydia as a kid, hanging around in the snack bar as Lydia narrates here, with Simon disrupting it by showing up in the flashback, but Karolyne's method is better since the photographs will hopefully give the reader a better picture of what part of her childhood is like.

PSA: Back from Vegas! New pages to be sketched next week!

Just got home, less than an hour ago; word of advice for anyone wanting to go to Las Vegas: Going between Monday-Thursday is the best time. Room prices are lower, there's less traffic, and chances are, most of the shows will be open on one of those days.

Anyways, right before I left my hotel, I got an email from Karolyne! She told me her mother is recovering, and got released from the hospital, and will start working on the next 4 pages of the comic, come next week! :)

What To Expect in August 2019!

Howdy!

So, we're now in the "new page month"! Specifically, expect to see Chapter 5 Pages 16-19! I think you folks will like this batch, because it'll give a teensy bit more backstory with Lydia. ;)

Anyways, just to give you folks a heads-up, Karolyne might be late with making pages, because due to a family emergency (A family member is sick and in the hospital).

As for me, I'm going to be going on vacation on August 5th-8th or 9th; most likely going to be either in Vegas or...

And we've now reached the last touch-up page for the month! The good news is that we'll be back to Chapter 5 throughout August. Even better news: THere's not a lot of Chapter 2 pages left! Chapter 3 is going to be fun to work on, if only because that needs the most TLC (especially the cover).

How's your summer been? Mine's been a bit boring, to be honest. Crossing my fingers I'll go somewhere in the first week of August, though! Would be nice to escape the triple-digit weathe...

(Unrelated note, my town is finally getting a modern movie theater, next year!  There's a 3-screen movie theater in the next town over, buuut they don't accept credit cards, and unless your movie is super popular, you have only a week to watch it before it's out of circulation. :/ )

What to expect in July 2019!

We're now at the month where we will fix up older pages to meet the standards everyone expects, so this time, we will be fixing up Chapter 2 Pages 22-25; there's a lot of missing background stuff, so those will definitely need to be fixed up ASAP!

I've been having a real good week, so far! Perhaps, one of the best in my entire life! My future is brighter than it has been a decade ago!

With that said, I've been in discussions with people, both privately and publicly, that I've been contemplating making a Discord server dedicated to all things Moonlit Brew and ACES!

I feel now is the right time to start discussing this, because for the first time in years, I actually feel hopeful about the future, not only in terms of my pass...

We're sorry for the inconvenience, but we haven't been late with getting pages finished by the end of the month, since Karolyne was hired a couple years ago!

What To Expect! (June 2019)

Howdy! So, I might've mentioned this for a while, but I got hit with a really bad cold (out of nowhere, might I add; who the hell gets colds during this time of year?!); Thankfully, I wrote the script for Chapter 5 Pages 12-15, right before it got real bad. ^^;

I'm doing fine, though my ears got plugged up a bit, so I've been taking ear drops for half a week, now. >>

What To Expect in May 2019

Happy Mayday, folks! 

So, just to remind you folks (and to the new patrons), we alternate every month between making new pages, and improving older pages that meet the standards everyone expects when they read the newer pages!

This month, we will be tackling Chapter 2 Pages 18-21, and we will get back to working on Chapter 5 when June rolls around!
