PSA: Three Chapter 4 pages will come your way this month!

The tl;dr version of this post is basically this: I received $122 from Patreon, and since we were so close to $135, I paid the difference out of my own pocket to ensure you folks will get 3 pages, this month.

And here's the 4th page for the month!  I think Karolyne improved this page over the original quite a bit, and that version looked pretty good, to begin with!

I will make a post about how many pages you will see, once December starts; Karolyne's already working on sketches for some of the Chapter 4 pages, as we speak!

Like we said in the last page, Karolyne wanted to preserve the paneling of the original pages for this scene, so she essentially based it off the originals, albeit with obvious enhancements. ;)

Ah yes, we're now in the "money shots" of the chapter! Karolyne wanted to keep the panels roughly the same, since the original artists did such a good job with the originals, so she took the "If it ain't broke..." approach for this page and the next. :)

Things are patching up quite nicely (literally {from the surgery} and figuratively {I'm finding some artists to join the TIAFOE crew!), just in time for my birthday on wednesday!

Lydia's house has a slight redesign, which is fine since we only have seen it once, in the original Chapter 1. I'm gonna lose it if someone makes a meme out of the bottom panel, and people have Sam put a thought bubble, saying "Dat ass". XD

Chapter 1 Remake Page 19 Update

I guess I'm not the only person who's recovering; Karolyne had heavy rain, and had mold forming on the roof of her house, and she was without internet for two days, so she wasn't able to work on the page any further than what we are seeing at the moment.

It's fine, though; I'm still recovering from the surgery I had yesterday morning. I'm not in a lot of pain, but I definitely feel swollen around my jaw area, and just feel more... irritable(?) than in real pain, if that makes any sense. At lea...

PSA#2: Minor schedule change in December!

I was normally going to hold back on making this announcement til later, but I think now would be the best time: As you most of you folks know, I've been paying for the difference out of my own pocket for the past year and a half in order to give our readers 4 pages per month: I've been paying about $70 mostly, and it's a bit unnerving that Patreon keeps showing that  I was going to receive $130 per month, but once the next month rolls around, I actually receive $110.

So, Just figured you'd want to know what pages will be made for this month, and, well, it's C1 Remake P19-22. :P

I also wanted to announce that I am getting the rest of my wisdom teeth pulled on the 8th (a week from my birthday. X_X), and I'm gonna try to write more of the script for Chapter 4 later in the month, once I'm not completely hurting from the surgery.

Eeey, the page got finished just in time before Halloween! I was getting worried I'd not be able to have the page before I finally get Super Mario Odyssey in the mail, tomorrow. XD

So, a little update on Karolyne's house; she's been able to get it fixed rather quickly!  So hopefully things will be back to normal, now. I also got one more sketched page to show off, so sit tight. ;)

Looks like Lydia found the remote in Sam's room... or the buttons on his TV. Take your pick. ;P

I wonder what exactly Sam, or maybe Gene, were playing to make all those windows shatter that time? If it was that episode of the Simpsons where Bart had those megaphones lined up with one another and made that large sonic wave, that would be absolutely hilarious and would be so copyright infringement-y if I actually showed that. XP

Sorry for the very slight delay; Karolyne's house had extensive water damage because of a faulty roof (she sent me pictures, and it looks like mother nature did a number on her house. :(  ). Nevertheless, she was able to make this page. So if production of the pages are a little slow this month, that's why. :<

So, the only thing that needs changing is that on the last panel, the words "relationship" and "heartbroken" need to have a "-" to break the words down if they can't entirely fit in the same line. I don't want people to think Simon is saying "Relations hip", because that would be weird. XD

Karolyne has been busy at the moment, and is trying to find inspiration for the other three pages. I told her that as long as you guys get all four pages finished by the end of the month, it shouldn't matter when I see the sketches are made/when those pages are finished.

There's Simon being a creeper, again. Whether he was checking out Lydia or Sam is up for debate. ;)

Quick Reminder!

Since it will soon be September in a few hours (in my time zone), I would like to remind everyone that we will be working on Chapter 1 Pages 15-18! We will continue Chapter 4 in October, and we will be alternating between the two chapters per month until Chapter 1 is finished!

Hopefully, this will answer any questions to why we've been doing that the past few months!
