December 12, 2020 - Update

Hi Everyone!

I hope this finds you and your family safe and healthy.

Every week seems to fly by, but this week really sucker-punched me. Doctor appointments, dentist appointments, and rewriting my Will to incorporate BAFK, all conspired to keep me from writing. I had the last laugh, though, and got three chapters posted.

I hope you all are safe and healthy. Everyone here in the AFK household is doing well.

My leave from work ended yesterday, and Monday, I'll be back on the job. It amazes me how foolishly optimistic I was on how much writing I'd get done with a newborn. November 4, 2020 - Update

Hello everyone!

I hope you all are doing well. Things here in AFK land are going good. BAFK and MAFK are doing great. I'm hoping to get some more sleep this week since BAFK reached his birth weight and we no longer have to be on such a strict feeding schedule. Fingers crossed.

October 28, 2020 - Update

Hi everyone!

Wow, what a week. I hope your week is going well and you and yours are safe and healthy.

Baby AFK (BAFK? Where is Sift when you need him to name something?) was born on October 23. It took us a bit to get out of the hospital and we are on a feeding schedule that I'm positive is illegal under the Geneva Conventions. His feedings are every three hours and it has left me in a bit of a haze. Mom and baby boy are doing great though.
