Inktober/Beeftober 2021: Day 29

"Champion"

When I first saw the prompt "Champion", the pic in my mind was blindingly obvious: Satin Steele winning Ms. Ultima. But about halfway through the month I began to realize that the prompts preceding Day 29 could be used to tell the story of Satin preparing for the contest. And even the pic I'd already drawn for Day 5 "Grind" fit in nicely to the storyline.

Video expected tomorrow

I'll start shooting the October 2021 Q and A video pretty much as soon as I can after I hit "Publish Now" on this post. And if editing and post-production go OK, maybe it'll post tonight! (But the upload to YouTube can be a lengthy process, so I don't want to promise tonight. But I don't foresee any problem with tomorrow!)

(NSFW) Starburst's Boudoir 2

I couldn't let October end without giving you "Patrons of Strong-Girl Art" a reward: a pic of Cynthia (Starburst) Robinson in her bedroom. Enjoy!

Inktober/Beeftober 2021 - Day 28

"Beef"

Under the bright lights of the Ms. Ultima stage, Satin Steele wows the crowd - and the judges - with her spectacular crab crunch/"most muscular" pose.

I nay have cheated a little bit by adding type to the drawing, but I wanted a way to show that this was happening at the Ms. Ultima contest, and what better way to do that than to include the onstage banner behind her?

"Scale"

The official sign-in/weigh-in for the Ms. Ultima competition.

Contestant: Janet Elizabeth "Satin" Steele

Height: 5 feet, 9 inches tall (175.26 cm)

Weight: 195 pounds (88.45 kg)

Assigned badge number 26

I extrapolated Satin's weight from the current Ms. Olympia, Andrea Shaw. According to Wikipedia, Ms. Shaw stands 5' 5 ½" and competes at a weight of about 1...

"Pump"

Backstage at the Ms. Ultima competition, Satin Steele pumps up her biceps with a pair of elastic bands, in preparation for the preliminary judging rounds.

...Yeah, yeah, I can hear you out there: "Hey, it's cool that it's animated, but she's so skinny in this one! You've been drawing her so much beefier in pics like 'Wings' and 'Shredded', what happened?" Well, the reason for that ...

Inktober/Beeftober 2021: (Belated) Day 22

So remember last week I decided to sit out Day 22 because a) I'd put an insane amount of work into Day 21 ("Wings") and b) I didn't have an idea for a pic I wanted to draw more than I wanted to not draw? Well, today I saw a photo I had in my archives of Colette Guimond pounding on her pecs with a mallet, as she is wont to do on occasion to show how mighty her chest is, and it hit me (pun intended) what I could draw!

Inktober/Beeftober 2021: Day 25

"Shredded"

Satin Steele is proud of what she sees in the mirror. But behind her smile, there's a little concern: "Am I peaking too soon? Can I hold this condition for 24 more hours, until the Ms. Ultima is over?"

Trying to match Satin's figure to the reflection in the mirror (or vice versa) is probably the most difficult task I think I've ever set myself. And I'm sure that if you look clo...

"Bar"

An elegant Cynthia Robinson (a.k.a. Starburst) sips wine at a ...bar.

...maybe she's waiting for someone?

This what's called "subverting expectations". Since the "Beeftober" prompts for Inktober concern, bodybuilding, weight training and muscle, you see the prompt "Bar" and you think "yeah, barbell bar" and "here's another pic of someone working out". Well, I was a little burn...

Inktober/Beeftober 2021: Day 23

"Break"

When the subject is female muscle, and the word "break" comes up, I always think "breaking chains". And I've done quite a few drawings of Tetsuko doing that.

But this time, I decided to change things up a bit, and give Starburst a chance to show off her chain-breaking abilities.

Looks like she's pretty good at it!

No Inktober today

I'm taking the day off from Inktober 2021. After the insane amount of detail I put into yesterday's "Wings" pic, I just couldn't find anything about today's "Beeftober" prompt, "Hammer", that compelled me to draw it. (I had some ideas, but nothing that said "drawing this will be better than anything else you'll draw today!")

So I'm not taking the day off from drawing; just gonna work on other stuff. For example, a drawing for my "Patron of Strong-Girl Art"-tier sponsors.

"Wings"

Rehearsing her compulsory poses for the Ms. Ultima, Satin Steele spreads her "wings" in the front lat pose.

Quite possibly the best drawing of Satin I've ever produced.

"Core"

With this year's Ms. Ultima competition only days away, Satin Steele is deep into her preparation to win the world's top bodybuilding title for the second year in a row. She checks her core conditioning, and feels good about her chances of repeating.

"Crush"

A common trope in superhero fiction: the bad guy fires a gun at our hero(ine), not realizing (or momentarily forgetting) that she's bulletproof. Dyna the Damsel Dynamo calms steps up to the gunman, snatches the gun out of his hand, and proceeds to crush it with her bare hand.

Inktober 2021: Days 11 - 16

I suppose I should be posting these here "day of", but after I've already posted to Twitter, DeviantArt and Instagram (IG is a particular pain to post to, since I can't do it from my desktop), I'm just "later, please..."

Anyway, here are the next 6 pics in the "Inktober/Beeftober 2021" challenge!

Day 11: "Overgrown"

Tetsuko has fallen behind in her "grooming". (oops... since this is a public post and the art is NSFW, let me link you to 2021-10-16 20:00:37 +0000 UTC View Post

You've watched the September Q and A I posted yesterday, right? And you saw the animation I drew up to answer a thought I had while answering the question about my characters' transformations?

Well, I thought you might like seeing the animation by itself. So there it is at the top of this post, and a link to download a full HD video version of it down at the bottom.

Okay, if you haven't watched the Q & A yet: during the course of the video, I reiterated that Cynthia Robinson/S...

September Q and A

Well, here it is: the moment you've all been waiting for! (At least I hope you have...)

I hope you enjoy seeing what the questions are*, and how I answered them. And if you're inspired to ask a question for the upcoming October video, that space down there is where to put them.

*not that the questions were some sort of deep dark secret; you could read the questions submitted in the comments of last month's video and the middle-of-the-month "call for questions" post.

(NSFW): Giantess Tetsuko

Sometimes I think of a pose or theme for a drawing, and I look through my archives looking for reference for the pose and details.

And sometimes, I  come across a photo that suggests a drawing.

That's what happened here. I came across - let me rephrase that - I found a photo of a woman bodybuilder (whose name I don't know, unfortunately) taken from an extreme low angle. Now I've already collected a fair number of other such "up-angle" FBB photos for use as reference in future...

Starburst - peril in space

Starburst is one of the most powerful beings in the Universe - so it's hard to imagine the sheer power of the mysterious being or beings who could subdue her and restrain her to this asteroid!

Her struggles to break her shackles have been fruitless so far, since her shackles can sense the strength she's exerting against them, and feed enough energy to overcome her efforts. Rocket engines fire at random moments to randomize the trajectory of the asteroid so that its movements can't be tr...
