Bare Camp Update Part 2
Had a visit out in the bush today while clearing. Bit of a surprise as this is about 400m from the pens.

Around this time last year we decided to take a break from everything and have a little getaway. Michael had been through radiation and chemo. It had been a very stressful 5 months by this stage.
GG's at Childers is a lovely nudist venue. We really enjoyed our stay there.
This time last year, Michael was meant to have major surgery. This surgery was to remove the cancer in his rectum. They were going to remove his rectum and anus. He was to have a stoma made and be on a bag for the rest of his life.
It would be a long recovery, and winter would be upon us during that time.
Michael always cut and split the wood by hand. He wouldn't be able to do that and I definitely couldn't. So we invested in a log splitter. It actually makes splitting firewood lots of...
While it isn't winter yet, it is getting to the time of year where Michael will have to start cutting firewood and getting it split and stacked for winter. I will help supervise of course. 🤣😂😜
This photo was from last year.
We had the right weather and wind to do a fuel reduction burn in one section of the property. This burn will add to our fire security by creating a massive fire break.
Michael will now push all the dead brush and logs etc into piles that we will burn off also. The fresh growth will create good feed for our goats.
For those of you not familiar with Australia. Lots of our native plants need fire and smoke to germinate the seeds.
It should be quite nice through this section in a year ...
Tier 3 people please check the group messages. I would like to organise our monthly chat with you. 😊

Michael had his endoscopy today. Just making sure his cancer hasn't come back. So far so good. 😊❤️

Well, we have 3 new additions here. They were kindly donated to us to help us with our Wild Dog predator problem. Unfortunately it isn't a quick fix. They will take a couple of years to fully mature, bond and learn.
They are Maremma Livestock Guardian Dogs.
It is Australia day today. Hope all the Aussies have a great day.
We planted a Moreton Bay Fig tree on Buddy's grave. Hopefully we can grow it to maturity. Will make a lovely shade tree for the future. Will be a long lasting reminder of our dear little family member.
He was such a cute little fella. He loved being interactive with us and all the campers who came here. He had such a big personality. He ingrained himself into our hearts. We are still shedding tears for him.
We collected his body yesterday and we are burying him today. Michael has chosen a lovely spot near the driveway. We have a Moreton Bay Fig tree to plant on top of him. So he will grow into a beautiful large tree and be with here long after we are gone.
If you are wondering, his ...
Very sad day today here at Bare Camp. Buddy was born 5 months ago. He was 3rd of triplets born to Flopsy, his mum. He was born very floppy and almost premature looking. He had a loud cry though, so we took him inside and bittle fed him. It was a very tough fight for him. For the first week, every night, we thought he would be dead by morning. He had constant diarrhoea. Was always coughing. In the end, it turned out he was allergic to the milks we were giving him. As a last resort he was put o...

I am very blessed to have a husband who is a great cook. He makes everything from scratch, if he can. Home-made bread always smells so good and tastes even better.

You know you have a real tough man and hard core nudist for a husband when you see him doing this job naked. 💪😍

New batch of baby ducks hatched last week. They took their first big swim in Hambalina's hole. Was so nice to watch.

We took this photo a couple of years ago. We climbed up on top of our dam wall and took some photos.

Getting StarLink was the best decision. The NBN system was very limiting. We made an Unboxing video at the time but weren't able to share it properly due to the "nudity". LOL
If you are thinking about getting Starlink then have a watch.

We had just got some new ducks from the market. Michael wanted to take some nice artistic photos of me with one of the ducklings. It was a nice winters day with a warm sun, so I agreed to get naked and pose for some photos.
Yes Michael did get some nice artistic photos, but he also got this candid one when the duckling got my nipple. Yes it hurt, but the photo is pretty cool. Couldn't have posed for that.
Have any of you had mishaps with animals while naked?
