WIP Wednesday: Halloween Update. SPOILERS

So my plan for this year’s Halloween Project is a phased approach. It’s an eight page sequence, anchored by four pinups and supplemented with 4 comic pages to fill in details and a bit of a story. The idea is to prioritize the pinups and then fill in with the pages as I am able. Most of this is planned to debut during the full moon cycle in October, but I want the first pinup ready to kick off the month. Fall is here (thank goodness)!  And since it's increasingly common for folks to start their Halloween celebrations the day after Labor Day,  (probably as revenge for how the Christmas season seems to start on November 1st anymore) I thought I'd do a pinup of the Wolf Man's daughter herself, Evie Taylor!  Black and White "Noir" version for all patrons! Inks and Colors on Manic She-Hulk Sketch

So here's something a little different.  A few weeks back another artist most of you know posted a quick 4 stage Shulk-Out sequence sketch.  Just for fun, I blew it up to a higher resolution, added inks, and colored it!  The end result is above, posted at full resolution with the original artists permission.  This was a lot of fun and I hope to do this again sometime!

Back Burner—Birth of She-Rage

Just another in a long line of She-Hulk wannabes. My interest I. The character has waned since I started this, but I do want to finish this piece at some point. This ties into the Alex Greene piece I posted awhile back (included here if you’ve forgotten. Anyway, I hope you find this sketch of interest!

Nothing too exciting here.  I wanted to try a new coloring tactic and rather than waste time drawing up a new image, I redid this older one.  Not sure if it makes much of a difference--I've included the original as well for those who would like a refresher or missed it the first time.

One bit of fan art I did between working on other things.  I've been getting caught up on most of the run of Larry Hama's continuation of the original G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero comic, originally published by Marvel and now by IDW and it's got me in a Joe mood.  (There's also the Snake Eyes movie which I did see and did like.)  It's always interesting finding ways to render that black armored catsuit of hers.
