Fuji Film Sims and a Manual 23 f1.4 lens

This is Kodak Porta 400 Recipe, one of the most popular film for portraits. I am going to try different recipe every couple of months so, will get to decide what works best for me

If you are using a fuji, and also make recipes, i would suggest that you remember to skip the add grain part if you are shooting at ISO 6400 or higher cos it will cause excess grain in the pictures.

More often than not, processing a picture is like touching a wet paint on the wall. You will take away the beauty and blemish it in a way that only you know. So while I try to shoot as close to what i want, even by adding lights reflectors etc to my shots, when you look at it later there is this reflex to fix small light or exposure or somerhing. But the more strongly you resist, the more it becomes a part of you to accept some shortcomings in a photograph cos life is not meant to be perfect...

my first attempt at two complete strangers together / the pandemic did throw up last minute challenges, once we got started we went all in. i feel blessed when i shoot, when people are not only willing to trust your half baked ideas but go much beyond by contributing ideas as we shot. We had shot all of day and night, and the plan was to head out to some place outdoor the next morning. Shooting can be tiring for both the photographer and the muses as well, so we had decided that though morning sun is best for some outdoors, we would not start early in the day. We leave when we get up was the call. Also we had no idea of where this outdoor was going to be, so we would leave it to luck.
