TCO: Part 4 Drafts #2

Thank GOD I got to use one of the sketches from "The Hunt." That would have been such a waste. Okay, that's it for tonight I promise. Tomorrow will be Part 2 updates!

TCO: Part 4 Sketch "Towering"

I sketched this out very quickly, so a bit sloppy. I'm thinking I want Part 4 to evolve into a different style entirely. Something that keeps coming to mind is Tartakovsky's "Primal." It's just so chaotic and the clean, subtle line work of Part 1 just won't work for this. Still tinkering.

Hey folks! Thank you SO much for helping with the launch of TCO Part 1. Y'all are fucking champions. It went very well! I'm now laying everything out for Part 2, scrapping panels, setting the tone for Part 3, and figuring out what the timeline will be for the second drop.

I'll get the basic stuff on that done today, but decided I don't like the upcoming designs for Part 4, so whipping up some sketches for that to share with y'all soon.

"The Chosen One" Part 1: HUNT [FULL]

So many challenges with just these four pages. I think part 2 will go a lot smoother now that I have a feel for the style. That final panel was unexpectedly a doozy!

Comic Bomb Episode 3: TOMORROW

Both the comic and video premiers tomorrow at 12 EST, please give this a boost when y'all spot it! It's a big one, and I feel like I kind of dropped the ball promoting the episode with Red Dot. I've been out of it.

Just posting as something interesting to look at before pages 4-5 arrive. 

One thing I learned from "Thrill Seeker" was that the sketches need to be 100% solid and representative of where the line art will settle, done through at least 3 layers. My sketches are now practically the most involved part of the process, made obvious by the bottom two images.

General Update

Hey all,

I am still in Florida just outside of the path of this year's 'I' name hurricane, and I do not expect any kind of disruption from this. Still so much I am juggling with for my grandmother who just had to be transferred a second time for even more involved care, so it's been tricky making time to sit down and power through the newest comic every day. On storms, I think luckily I'll make it through okay between New Orleans and Florida assuming the Gulf stays reasonable througho...

Comic Cover Comm [WIP]

As you all know, I am desperately behind on commissions, they are happening at the same time as "The Chosen One," the Comic Bomb videos, and various other projects. No, I'm not really sleeping much, but gotta keep the lights on!

This will be a cover for an indie comic that the client gave me permission to share progress of. There will be a nude version, and the scene is that of a gigantic, chaotic orgy happening around her, with crashing trucks and helicopters and super heroes getting ...

I'm getting towards the end of page 3 and mapping things out for the next 3, and I revisited the sketches from a few weeks back and I can already tell even I'm not ready for this shit, and I'm the queen of "y'all ain't ready hyuck hyuck."

A heavy update

This has been a very strange and difficult year for a variety of reasons, and many things are coming to a head all at once in my personal life, making the future uncertain for me.
