Update + Level 50 and 60 Art WIP

Hello everyone,

Here are the latest plans regarding Life Sim,

Tonight the content completed Strength Overhaul + NPC Interactions Update will be released followed by another paid pledge poll scheduled for 11:58 PM tonight. As always, please modify/create/delete pledges as needed.

Later this week an alpha build of the More Workouts + Contests update will be released on Patreon.

Strength and NPCs Alpha 3

Hello everyone,

Things have been progressing slower than hoped due to some personal issues, but I have a new build of the game for you all to enjoy.  This has the Peter contest along with a new upgrade/activity tied to it - HoloChess.  A few nasty bugs were fixed too, such as supplements breaking split up activities (hopefully I didn't introduce too many more...)

Please note that the Chance contest + reward isn't implemented yet, nor have the new Sidney interactions.

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that the next release will be coming a bit later than anticipated.  It is still coming however, and I'm aiming to get all of the owed content completed by the end of the month (rest of the NPC update, plus more Workouts, plus more Contests).  Since More Contests is winning the poll by a strong margin, I will create a poll later this week asking which contests you want to see prioritized.

Life Sim Strength and NPCs Update Alpha 2

Here's the latest build of Strength and NPCs Update.

Ended up adding more general girlfriend descriptions than anticipated, so the remaining NPC contests will be added in the next build later this week.

Here's the current changelog (including alpha 1):

- Girlfriend art order has been rearranged.  There is now a clearer progression between each image, and she's generally larger at lower levels now.

There will be another paid poll scheduled for ~11:55 PM EST tonight, with a new build of the game deployed before or shortly after it.

Anything unfinished  in the Strength/NPC update will be added in another build deployed by the end of the week - though most things on the list should be finished in the first build coming tonight (main thing that will be missing is the Sidney questline since it's fairly involved)

Strength and NPCs Alpha 1 Bug Fixes

Hi everyone,

This is just a very simple bug fix update for the Alpha for the previously released build.  New content build coming this upcoming week.  Here's what this fixes:

Yellow amulet now properly appears in equipment screen.

Yellow amulet now works while sleeping.

Pushing amulets to inventory in test room now functions properly.

Luck Potions now appears in inventory and function properly.

Life Sim Strength and NPCs Update Alpha 1

Here's the beginning of the Strength and NPCs update.

Notes:

- Characters can now challenge Ulric to an armwrestling contest.  If the girlfriend is wearing the nightmare collar she can drain him once (he'll refuse to armwrestle again if she's still wearing it)

- Girlfriend can challenge Allison to an arcade machine contest.  She can similarly be drained this way.

Life Sim Workouts and Beach Update

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to share with you all the latest build of Workouts and Beach.  Many things have been fixed and added since the last iteration.  

A few notes,

- There is now an activity where you can massage the girlfriend to restore her stamina, and an upgrade at the quick college to make this more effective.  This activity will have expanded descriptions in a future update.

Hey everyone.

Fell into a time warp again, but the project isn't dead.

Interest in files with all Scenes + Dialogues + Descriptions?

Hey everyone, just another quick poll to gauge interest in .txt files that contain all of the scenes, dialogues, descriptions etc.  Simply put, if it's something people are interested in I'll add them to the patreon rewards and gumroad editions of the game.  If people aren't interested and would rather earn the descriptions in game, I won't spend the time creating and maintaining the files.

High level intelligence dialogue poll

Those of you who have played through the new Dialogue Update may have noticed that some of the old high level intelligence dialogues have been removed.  I made this choice because I realized that they were a little megalomaniacal, almost closer to the rantings of a supervillain rather than something an intelligent person might say.

On the other hand, some people have mentioned in the past they enjoy that tone, and prefer the girlfriend to be more power hungry and ego-driven.

Hello everyone.

Currently in Life Sim, strength and height are separate stats.  While this allows for more role-playing opportunities for players, it creates inconsistencies with the art, and adds more work on the development side of the game.

For example, since the girlfriend's height can be increased separately, it's not unusual for her to be significantly taller than in the artwork.  Conversely if a player has "height growth with muscle growth" disabled, then she will...

Hello everyone,

Holding a quick poll to gather feedback on which direction Jobs should take in Life Sim.

Currently the jobs are functionally activities that the player chooses for the characters to perform.  This gives the player a lot of freedom, but also results in a lot more clicking. 

If kept this way, future updates involving jobs will focus on introducing new jobs to choose from, and expanding the descriptions for existing ones.

Life Sim Scene Update Version 3 Released

Hello there,

Life Sim Scene Update has been updated to version 3.  Backers can find the new HTML file inside the same Google Drive folder.  Save files from Version 2 should be compatible.  Here's what's changed: 

- Fixed bug where player wasn't gaining XP from activities performed with GF.

- Characters can now relax together for up to 8 sessions (4 hours)

Poll on the direction of Transfer Scenario moving forward

This is a quick poll to see what direction the Transfer Scenario should go in.  

Currently in the transfer scenario, the girlfriend steals about 1-2 stats every 1-2 days.  The story scenes feature an emotionally dominant girl who steals attributes from a consenting boyfriend.  That said, the player ultimately has no agency over this - the boyfriend always agrees.
