So there's a video of Sean Murphy of Oakland Athletics going around for rather appealing reasons. I showed it to Scarf, who decided he wanted a pair of baseball pants. Well, I obliged him, and then some.

Hey all,

I've had a very rough art block for the first week of April, and I've been trying to work past it. I'm sorry for not getting anything out to y'all sooner, but I'll be trying to have doodles and stuff for y'all regularly starting in the next day or two. 

This coming week will probably also see the first WIPs for April's monthly illustration, so those of you in the relevant tier, stay tuned for that.

March 2022 - Dragon Milking (Monochrome)

This dumb dragon got caught wandering onto a farm, disturbing the locals and getting himself wrestled down, tied up, and kept imprisoned in a nearby barn. In deliberations over what should ultimately be the dragon's fate, one farmhand recalled rumors about how much various bits and pieces of a dragon go for on black markets, and that harvesting a living dragon repeatedly for their essence would bring a lot of potential wealth to the village.

March 29 update

Hello everyone, 

First off, I wish to give the absolute highest amount of my thanks to everyone currently subscribed to my Patreon. We're about to hit the end of the first full month of this page being up, and already it's been a big help. I can't thank those of you who are subbed enough for your support. 

The main point of this update is about March's illustration. I haven't yet posted WIPs of it, but I started it last night, and plan to upload it before the end of Marc...

Derg on Display

Well this doodle is in quite a bit of an unrefined state - needs a lot, lot more attention overall, and I really dislike whatever is going on with that foreground arm. Undressing Bear

I realized last night that I haven't drawn Chibear since before I moved in September of last year. It kinda made me feel a little melancholy, because even though Chiderg is far and away my most self-representative character now and gets the lion's share of attention these days, the bear is still really important to me.

I honestly think I like doing penciled monochrome sketches more than anything in the world. I feel like my grasp on color theory and how to light a scene are kinda.....iffy, and drawing in this manner is basically what my skills revolve around.

Oh yeah also derg butt. He's a thicc dude, ain't he?

I was playing around with using that lowpoly vrchat chiderg model as a 3D reference in CSP...this was the result.

It's always weird when I draw his face a little cartoony and draw the rest of his body in his usual amount of detail.

A few changes

So I might end up changing the format of my Patreon to just posting sketches and doodles whenever I have them ready to upload, because I think it'd be better to have stuff to post every couple of days, instead of just batches every two weeks. 

If it's alright with y'all, I'd also like to hear suggestions on doing polls, because right now I feel like this platform is very passive for patrons and I'd like to give y'all room to actively influence the ...
