Busy moving this month

I am moving this month in real life.  These situations are always super hectic. Not a fan of moving, especially with a pandemic still going on.  Worst, my last 3 or 4 moves were a few miles away, and this one is halfway across the country.

I made a series of "happy" character pics. This is the last.  A hot tub party!  There is a little depth of field happening here so Mia and Rachel look slightly out of focus, but not enough to blur them, just soften their looks.

These pictures will show up in Hopepunk City as transitional scenes.  The ones with nudity like this one will be in the later part of the game.

Pic of the Week #7

Feeling down, I decided to make some random pictures of my characters having fun.  This is my favorite.  I added some depth blur on this one with focus on Mia in the middle making Rachel and Ariane slightly blurry, but not as blurry as the background.  Love the dog looking in.

Hopepunk City Demo 0.3 (plus hints)

Decided to update the demo program.  I don't have an updater file so you will just have to redownload.

Fellow visual novelist Tlaero made some helpful suggestions to "show" more instead of "tell".  With the goal of showing more "slice of life" moments of Artema for better immersion, I added 4 short NPC dialogs designed to highlight aspects of life in the city. I may add more as I go....

Hopepunk City Demo in Android

Here is the android version of the Hopepunk City Demo.  It is a direct port of the PC version and it is not optimized for Android, so the text is going to look small and some choices will get cut off, and it will take up more memory on your android device than it should, but this is an alpha product, and at least it is playable.

Hopepunk City is my latest game that I am working on set in an alternative sci-fi universe.  The structure of the game is very different than the games that came before. 

I decided I can promote the game and get some constructive criticism, by posting it on Patreon some time in April.  It will go first to $5 patreons, but $1 patreons will get it this summer sometime.

Restarting the Patreon Page

This is the official relaunch of the dateariane patreon page.  I sent messages to everybody who was still on the patreon list.  No one will get charged for March, but starting April you will get charged if you still want to be a Patreon.

So you completed the game. If you go back to the main menu and go to achievements, you can see how many you earned and how many you are missing.  Most of the achievements are earned just by making different choices, and are automatic.  Some may require you to deliberately seek them out, like "Dead Parrot" and "Scientific Expedition".

But far and away the hardest to get is "Full Gallery"....
