All of the Hunter beta designs I could find made him look very young, so I had to improvise my own. Here, his design was based on Cassandra Cain's Batgirl, who had a very tattered appearance.

I wanted him to look part of the high ranks but also somewhat ghostly, like his existence could just be a rumor.

Some misguided comments

After posting the first page of HomeLuz Arc 22, I wanted to share some of the comments received so far.

It's amusing that everyone sees the setup and thinks that one thing will happen (Luz will be a badass) and not suspect the reveal (it's an intro for Hunter). As a writer, you always have to look for what makes sense but is still surprising. A setup to what you think you can predict leading to something else.
