Bombchu Bowling Girl Pinup
So I started out just wanting to draw some Zelda girls, and then I had an idea and then that idea got out of hand. I have been looking at some Studio Ghibli art books lately and I wanted to paint a Ghibli-esque interior background with a cute cel shaded figure and then the Bombchu Bowling girl came up in discussion in the poll and I got out of hand.

It's always a bit of a hurdle I dread doing, usually because I do the thumbnails too far in advance (I did) and I don't exactly understand what all my rough scribbles mean anymore (I don't)! There's nothing especially horny about this drawing, my friend just told me to draw a cute girl in a rowboat and I couldn't stop at just one. I tried to tie it into the theme by making them witches having done a little fishing for potion ingredients.

Tentacle Witch Couples
Lots of loving support happening here. I didn't really intend for these to turn out so watercolory but there it is. The pencil-ish lines and textured brush don't feel like they support deep dark tones to me, but maybe I just need to try to mess around with it more!

Monday Covid Drawings
Thank you all for the wonderful support and encouragement to REST. I needed it, and I did rest. After getting over the fever-y part of the sickness, the rest hasn't been too bad. Brain fog is still with me and I'm stuffy and coughing, so I'm nowhere near 100% and I'll be taking it easy this week too as I continue to recover.

Libby & Holly Ch1 Cover Art
There's been a lot of manga influence on this project so far, so it seemed natural to continue that onto the cover art. Also my current Dragonball reading habit left me envying the simplicity of Akira Toriyama's to covers.
Breaking up a story into chapters is something that I have been trying to figure out how to handle since I usually rely on being able to make fixes retroactivel. I will have to be a little bit more deliberate in my writing process going forward to avoid to many goofs...

1980s Storm (X-men)
I was having a lot of trouble focusing and just desperately needed a change of pace/distraction so I took some time to draw Storm from the 1980s as promised. :) Looking forward to see who comes out on top of the new poll!
I know Storm from the 80's is probably heavily influenced by Grace Jones, because she's incredible, no argument there, but I took her in more of a Naomi Campbell type direction.
