As you begin walking along the gently winding path, you become aware of a quiet buzz of activity all around you, both natural and magical.
As your footsteps disturb the flowers, a small cloud of pollen rises up about your ankle...
These are a few of the drawings that came about in the process of making the Farcille art from this week that for whatever reason just didn't really make the cut, although I do like some of them, maybe they'll find a more meaningful home eventually.
Also I've got some little preview WIP art from the forthcoming CYOA update :)

Still thinking on these. I think I'd like to expand a few of them with some color and kinda give it a nice framed in a stone arched doorway kinda treatment. I've done it before and I'll do it again because I like putting little boxes and frames around characters 😂

These were some of the things I drew but didn't post, or that took me a while to get around to adding the little bit of polish necessary to make them feel right.
This month I tried mostly to stick to using the same drawing tools as I had been, those three brushes of different sizes. I still tend to favor certain ones for most things so I think I'm going to introduce a different set of three to play with this month.

Some doodles I've been collecting over the past week.
I'm trying to continue to use the limited brush palette on these but I don't know if I've been fulling embracing it because I'm hardly using the thickest of the set. I think I'll need to approach the drawings with the expectations that i have to use all three in order to see how it really influences what I'm doing.

Sometimes you set out to just do a simple thing and you just get carried away.
My idea was that after finishing my Libby & Holly thumbnails (See second image! I'm trying to work ahead of my quota for the month) that I would let myself do something easy and simple, like drawing medusa because she was a lot of fun last year.

I'm embracing temporary coloring with the hopes that it helps me make my goal before the end of the month, at least for pages.
This month's ended up just bad timing for my freelance schedule. I'll probably have a lot more empty time starting in the next two weeks but it's been busy right up until the end otherwise.
