Halloween has come a little a early for me this year, starting the season off right by bathing in a pool of blood! I pitched this idea to Nude Carbon Studios back in March while I was listening to Campaign 1 of Critical Role, wanting to recreate some beautiful but gothy Raven Queen vibes, and he was all for it!

I shot Meiko today!! I dunno if you know this but this actually a whole new costume from the rendition I did three years ago — the skirt and blazer are both altered and dyed to be more accurate to the anime but otherwise it was a rather easy costume to toss together again!

Welp. I can’t even express how happy I am with how this turned out!!
This was a decently simple cosplay but there were a few things to mention:
bodysuits tend time squish your boobs because they’re so tight! but Meiko has such defined, round boobs in her canon bodysuit, so I made a plaster cast of my chest, and molded a worbla breastplate to wear under the bodysuit so my chest retains its shape!!

This past week I rented out a no-contact Airbnb for dirt cheap in my. city! I’d never done this before to shoot sets, but man I’ll definitely be doing this again and again in the future!
