I get the impression that Millie keeps her guard up in physical situations, while Moxxie keeps his guard up in social situations... unless they're talking about art, in which case, he won't question anything.
So in a strange way, Loona is a bit intimidated here.

I think the show somewhat contradicted this idea of Millie being the one to romance Moxxie, but it's not entirely clear. I think it's funnier that Millie was trying to "bag" Moxxie on their first date but realized she needed to ease in a little more.

So while I did want to cover some little explored aspect that's common with sex (and maybe provide a lesson to readers to be wary of), I also have to admit that I'm not fond of Loona's claws. I've been slowly shortening them over time, but now I'll have an excuse to just cut them entirely. Though, that won't happen until at least this scene ends.
