Recycling time! (A little surprise.)

I've been looking at Calling Cipher last week to see what I can do with the game.

The script is complete rubbish, of course. Nothing to salvage there except the characters and small parts of the plot.

The artwork is gorgeous, and luckily most high school uniformed characters had also casual clothes.

Most of the CGs are made for both casual clothes and uniform, so I'm lucky there too.

All in all, it was pretty salvage-able if I could just fix the plot.

Avatar Creator & Linen Tale Update

Hair bottoms of the avatar creator are complete! 

Started working on hair front extensions!

It's a slow but steady progress. Hopefully the finished game will be bug free. *fingers crossed*

As for Linen Tale;

I'm still exporting/uploading items to craft. It's hell. Every item has so many colors and each with 4 different poses.

Linen Tale: Progress!

Finally the Tutorial chapter is complete as we start our main quest and learn how to use the Scheduler.

The Tutorial Chapter teaches the player how to do certain things in the game, but mostly it's scripted.

However from this point on forwards, it's more random events and serious crafting and trading along with completing the main quest and side quests!

Linen Tease

Took a short break from the avatar creator app to work on Linen Tale for a bit. I just want to be done with the creator, so I can turn back to LT <3 =(!

There are a few ways to learn patterns (designs) but studying the item is the only certain way! (The level of the item must be close to your own level of course. Otherwise you won't be able to study it.)

The crafting system is quite easy and straightforward, but I thought adding a mini-game or a puzzle would end up being really...

Hairs hairs

I've slowed down all other projects to speed up this one and complete it as soon as I can, as I want to focus only on Linen Tale next year in order to release it as soon as I can. Need to keep Rinmaru games up and running so I won't have any delays.

Anyways, 42 hair tops and counting! Huge game incoming.

General update!

This week has been productive in deciding the future of ImpQueen games.

I've been having a lot of dilemma over the last couple of months about Visual Novels and Otome games.

On one hand, I thought Visual Novel medium could be used to create so many hybrid games. Including rpgs, crafting and point-and-click adventures. It's a very good tool to use for interactive storytelling. Be it role playing games or any other kind.

I added skin textures along with shadows/contours, so the faces look a bit more realistic and unique from each other.

I'm not even %30 done with the makeover section but can already create pretty cool characters!

Linen Tale Crafting!

I'm finally done with the trickiest part in Linen Tale!

We can now easily learn new patrons(recipes), choose patrons with the help of a filter menu, collect ingredients of chosen patron, craft items and later on wear what we crafted!

Visual Novel Renp'y Tutorial: Part 1

Hey everyone!

I finally have a bit of a free time, so let's start this tutorial series for real this time!

This will be a long part, and it may be a bit boring because I will try my best to explain even the silliest things. 

Don't you hate it when in a tutorial they skip a VERY basic part of a program and you get stuck for hours because you don't know something as simple as a shortcut key or something? Better safe than sorry.

As I recently learned how to make mobile apps, I'm already working on a new fantasy avatar creator. (Female only for now. If it works out, I'll make a male version.)

It will be an advanced version of the older game.

This will be a mobile app exclusive. (Palpaca and above tier patrons will be able to play it on their desktops too.)

I'm also remaking the latest manga creator, as it had a lot of technical problems.

Productive day!

This week has been incredibly challenging, but it ended with some pretty good news.

I've had so much trouble with the latest html5 manga creator, and has been frantically looking for solutions ever since the release day.

Today I found one thanks to Ola from DollDivine!

With this new method, I'll also be able to port my dress up games and avatar creators to apps, and standalone desktop applications.

I'll be sharing desktop applications only on here, to Palpaca and beyon...

Visual Novel Renp'y Tutorial: Entry

Hey everyone!

In the poll, starting from the basics to advanced was chosen, so here we go.

I don't want to make individual tutorials for each function. Instead, let's make a small game together going through everything one by one. Because I believe learn-by-doing method is the best!

I plan to add a few things that are not normally in Visual Novels like character customization screen and inventory, so that you don't necessarily have to stick with a strict VN format.

Linen Tale sketches

The amount of items Linen Tale has is crazy. 

Every faction has 20 different style of outfit for 2 genders, and each with around 10 colors. There are 12 factions. 

That's not even including accessories like hats, jewelry and handheld items like swords etc.

And I'll have to name every single item in the game. ;_; /dead

Linen Tale Teasers 11.08.2018

Today, I worked on the Customer/Shopping screen of Linen Tale. 

It's pretty similar to the Style Savvy system. If you played any of the Style Savvy games you won't have trouble getting used to Linen Tale's customer shopping side!

Of course, every customer has a different personality and wishes, and failing to find the right outfit twice will result in them leaving the shop. (Some customers have even less patience.)
