Hey everyone.

Can you believe it's already the end of the year? I remember announcing that DoC would be reaching an Alpha state at the end of 2023.

That milestone to me means that the game would be playable from start to finish, where every feature and story arc are present and fleshed out enough to give a good idea of what the final product will be like.

Finally got some new stuff done for Abel. This is part 1 of a new arc where you build enough of a bond for him to become your lover.

It unlocks once you've interacted with him enough and have spent enough time in the Barrens.

Make sure to visit him once in a while to see if he has something new to say.

Winty has also done some awesome new art for Abel! There will be more coming for him in the future too~

Hello everyone!

It's time for another dev notes, and this month features a lot of different moving pieces!

On my side, I'll be focusing on adding a new quest featuring Abel. Similarly to how Lukka's quest encourages you to repeat encounters with the imp, I'd like to do a similar concept for the Lost encounters. This will also let you build and explore your relationship with Abel, leading him either to embrace Corruption or reject it. New art for him is also in the works~

Got big advancements all around in this version!

I've wanted to clean up the flow of endings for a while now, make them easier to get once you've unlocked the recquirement for them.

Hello once again everyone. 

I am pleased to bring you another update about upcoming features and developments to DoC.

Gameplay-wise, I'll be focusing on balancing and fixing encounters that now use the new timeline-based combat system.

The imp currently uses Prideful Ascent so much that he gets massive in just a few encounters. Some people are into that but it was not the intended behavior. Others have it way worse though so I'll go through each of...

-There were too many inputs required for small/unimportant decisions.

-The whole passage for the fight reloads with every attack, which resets the viewpoint of the player and takes some time to load.

There's this ending that Rain/Dragonien and I have been working on that is about Ethrex. The writing has been ready to integrate for a while, and I think now's the time to get it in there. I wanted to make it a bit special here since Ethrex is very much a chaotic being and openly tells you that he'll take Nyx for himself, given the chance to do so. Expect something very intense~

Hey everyone!

Got some fun stuff planned for this month~ I'd like to finish what you guys have seen for the Lost Prisoner mostly. He'll be able to join your party and give you some personal moments. I want him to be the equivalent of Abel for corrupted runs, where he'll be giving you lore and advice for what's coming.

A Breeding to Shatters Souls [NSFW] (4K)

I made this last animation in a haze of insomnia where I worked on it for like 20 hours straight, I don't remember much about it.

But I have learned a lot from it, feels really good to have gone through the full process of 3D production. From sculpting Sombreve to animating and doing audio work, it was all done on my own.

Pausing development for the month

Hey everyone.

I am writing to express my sincerest apologies for unfortunate circumstances that prevent me from being able to ship this month's release of DoC.

As you may know, my father has been battling health issues recently.
